Three Mobile Pay As You Go Mobile Broadband 3 GB Data SIM

I took a 3 week trip to Europe in June 2017 and this card was great to have. I have an unlocked phone (Asus) using T-Mobile in the USA. I didn't want to pay roaming charge on my trip so I got this SIM card. Because this is 3GB of data (only, no voice or text) and last for 3 months, I tested it out in the US before my trip. It worked, and was plug and play (just put the SIM card into the phone and it worked, I was able to get my Whatsapp as well as surf the internet and my apps worked).It is only 3G in all countries, except for 4G in the UK...which is fine with me. The coverage was spotty sometimes (similar/relative to my T-Mobile coverage in the US), but again, for the price paid, it was more than adequate most of the time. It worked for my trip to UK, Germany, Ireland, Denmark, Poland, Estonia, Sweden. The only country it didn't work was in Russia. I was on a Baltic cruise ship and it even worked on the ship quite a bit as we were near the coast/land a lot of the time so it was able to pick up signal from shore and especially when we were in the ports (a big plus since internet on cruise ships are so expensive).So if you are going to travel to Europe, you should get this...can't beat the price for what you get!

Delivered poor

I bought this for my Trio tablet, and it FRIED it. It charges, does not turn on. Removed card, nothing. Allowed battery to drain completely, charged again w/o card, tablet no longer responds. Have not taken step to clear tablet completely of all data till I can have someone look at it. I ordered this product specifically for my tablet TO AVOID THIS PROBLEM! FAILED!

I live in the U.S., and planning a trip to Europe. Tested the card in the U.S. It works perfectly in 3G as advertised in my newly purchased Huawei E5577s Hot Spot device . Fortunately my friend in the UK provided me with his address and UK credit card info, so topping-up the data is very simple when logging into the Three (UK) website. The chat service from Three is excellent (reps are in India). You definitely need a UK contact to top-op or determine the remaining data on the card. If you think you will need more than the 3 GB of data, you can always purchase additional cards, and install them as needed. No expiration on the cards, as long as they are not activated. This card has probably the least expensive European cost per data that I could find.

I bought this for my recent travel to South America. The sim card worked perfectly when I was in Peru, Chile, and Brazil. The data was 4G for most of the times, with 3G sometimes in rural area. It's very easy to install to my iPhone 11 Pro, and no need to do anything else to activate in each country. Overall, it's a great travel sim card at a very reasonable price.

Just got back from a 2 week cruise in the Western Mediterranean. Stopped in Italy, France, Spain, Gibraltar and the U.K. This SIM card is not for business people needing quick access to fast streaming internet. But ideal for those on vacation. It will save you lots of money, and keep you. connected to family and friends through data apps.Firstly I have an unlocked iPhone 6s Plus. Installation of the SIM card was standard and simple. When we flew into Heathrow (London) it immediately picked up the data network no need to login - immediately started using the data. 3 sent a text for a link to track your data.Overall I was delighted with this Sim Card. The card automatically picked up the local data network at every port. U.K. was 4G speed the rest of Europe 3G. So don't look to stream videos with this card. Obviously 3G is not as fast as we might be use to - but give it 15 secs or so to load a page.However if you are looking to use text (iChat, Whatsapp etc) or internet phone (FaceTime, Skype, etc) this is great. We used it to surf web, use apps like Yelp, Instagram, Facebook, Google, Maps and other GPS apps. We also were able to pick up and send email without problem. Occasionally on the cruise we could pick up data networks if we were sailing close to land. I recommend you buy 2 hours of internet time on the cruise. It is costly but worth it if you want to keep in touch with family through text, internet phone etc. when not close to land.Overall was so glad I bought this card. When I heard what others were paying with their network providers I realized I saved so much.
