The product is great, with amazing sound clarity. I’d recommend buying the mic too, as it makes it more convenient to use.Battery backup is also good.

The media could not be loaded. In my opinion if you are looking for a bass machine you can blindly purchase this beast. The sound quality, build quality, aesthetics, led illumination aspects were so good.But when you play music some minor details of the song is getting lost but sony managed to make it negligible with their efforts, as this is a common issue with party speakers.I repeat in my opinion it's all about bass. When you are listening to your favorite playlists at 40 to 50 percent volume then the listening experience is so good.it's was true value for money for me, because I got it for like 17k. Very good product. I bought this twin.When I connected it using TWS, both the speakers together produced a very good sound. For small events like those with 150 to 200 people, two speakers are quite effective and everyone will enjoy it. I guarantee this much. Although it has been many years since its launch. But still do not hesitate to buy it because the product is very good and will not disappoint you anywhere. Considering the way its price has come down today, no one should have any kind of hesitation in purchasing this product. I suggest everyone that if you cannot afford more than this, then you can buy two speakers of this range and organize the best party.After all Sony is Sony. It is known for its space and performance. So don't hesitate and buy any product as it is worth it. It is expensive but you will get to hear very good sound and music from it.

This is a good decent size speaker for home. Don't expect too loud volume, just enough for living room and can make you dance but won't make you crazy with volume. Neither you will get neighbour complaints for being loud. Just enough. If looking for good volume go for bigger one of Sony. But yes bass is super solid and you won't regret of buying this premium speaker. Works well with bluetooth TV or firestick. You can enjoy movies like home theatre. Size is decent and can carry easily in the car. But yes volume goes down upto 50% if not connected to power. Yes price is little high looking at the volume. But sound quality is best.

Massive price drop feels like cheated :(Anyways I found 2 problems which is unacceptable at this price...1) Minor sound distortion in a few songs at 100% volume, till 70-80% is fine.2) Bluetooth connection drops right after 10-12metres. This is very annoying... LDAC range is 8 metres only, so you cannot listen to HD music and only SBC and AAC is stable that too is not much in range.In addition :-1) Omni-directional sound is a complete gimmick and you cannot notice at all.2) Remember bass is lacking, not a floor shaking output like JBL. You and friends will not feel like dancing during parties.3) Seems like 80/100watts(on power), loud enough for small gathering of upto 10 members in a 25 x 25 hall... outdoors is even worst.4) Many says clarity is good but I found it average as an audiophile. I think Bose and even Anker Soundcore is far better in sound clarity.5) Too heavy, you will definitely miss wheels on it.It should be a decent buy for 20-22k maximum... me at 30k not liking it anymore.

For long I was eyeing this Sony party speaker I even bought xv700 but some how Amazon screwed the delivery and delivered a tempered item and above that I had a very bad customer care experience and thought I will never buy from Amazon but times change and I bought this xv500 during this festival for 18K which I believe is a bargain ( I even saw it for lesser 17K a few days after I bought it) this time around it went smoothly and rcvd a fresh out of the factory item.The fact is I being a Sony fan didn’t find any compromise with the product and found it every bit as advertised. Base is more than enough for a 10X10 room with volume leveled around 40. It is louder and heavier once connected to the grid. I still have to test the product for outdoors and volume level above 45 but I am sure it will be sufficient. The product itself is very heavy, heavier than expected. It is not backpack portable but yes four wheeler portable. Battery works just fine and has enough juice to last as advertised minus 3-4 hrs depending on the operator.It can be hooked up with any Bluetooth enabled devices but one weird thing is when you hook up with TV and play songs on YouTube the YouTube app keeps on crashing. Other than that it is a sound investment. Go for it.
