Sally HansenMiracle Gel Nail Polish, Shade Prince Char-mint 754 (Packaging May Vary)

With the pandemic, I started doing my own nails again after many years of going to a salon. I don’t mind doing my own nails, but the polish would only last a couple of days. Once I found this product, and applied it correctly, (without a basecoat), it usually lasts about 7 days or more. I love the colors, and I especially love that it stays on a decent amount Of time. I’m actually having fun experimenting and have purchased a couple of the glitter colors and put them on top.

Sally Hansen miracle gel is usually my go to for Doing self manicures. Prince char-mint did not live up to my expectations based on my experiences with multiple other colors in this line.It takes 3-4 coats of color using a three stroke method to get complete coverage on the nail. That’s before even applying step two. Kind of bummed I’m in a big mint/aqua blue phase lately and really looked forward to this shade. Sadly even after painting my nails this shade lasted shy of a week (likely because of so many layers the step two doesn’t cure properly). Other shades I can last longer than two weeks without needing a fresh manicure.I use the two step miracle gel system because I have long natural nails but I enjoy the final look of a gel set too. The added bonus is usually the Miracle gel is a fast manicure. With this color it is not, having to do so many coats leaves you sitting a long time to ensure it dries properly.In the bottle the shade is brilliant exactly what you want if you are looking for a mint shade. It is just too time consuming and requires too many coats. I recommend looking at other shades in this line, there are many others that are beautiful and don’t require so many coats.

Color looks just like it does in the bottle, a pretty cobalt looking blue. Formula is not thin and brush is easy to use. Two coats and I used the clear top coat and this did not chip for about a week!

Love the hue and quality of my new and fresh minty polish. It’s the type of blue-green that is brighter than your typical neutral color but still manages to match (and upgrade) almost every spring outfit or occasion. Perfect as a summery background for flower nail art or shines on its own.

I buy sally Hansen products all the time this particular polish, however does not have a very good coverage without two or three coats

Lovely colour and feel. Doesn't last long without the top coat also applied on top.

Loved this. The color is great. It takes a while for this to set so it doesn't blister or chip so plan for about 45 minutes of doing nothing, but then it stays on really well. I used the gel top coat for longer lasting effects, but it’s not necessary. If I’m pinched for time I’ll just use one.

This nail polish wears much longer than regular nail polish and has a nice shine.
