I bought this for 2 stray cats that live in my garage, they won't let me touch them but they really seemed to appreciate the heated beds and this coop heater. I'm pleased with it, very minimal electrical usage and no open coils to start a fire. It can't heat a room and I wouldn't enclose it in a small space but the cats love to sit by it.

Door works perfectly, very easy install right out of the box, simple to program. Took a couple of the slower chickens 3 days to learn when it closed. I set it for 1hr after sunrise, 30 min before sunset due to an owl problem. Haven't lost a chicken now in the 5 weeks we have been using this. Great product, great price. Peace of mind.

I purchased one of these in the spring of 2022 and used it for a couple of weeks. I then used it in the month of December, 2022 and it quit heating. I purchased a new one hoping I had just gotten a defective heater, but the time to return had expired since I didn't use it for most of the year. I purchased a second one the end of January, 2023. It quit working in March of 2023. Today I sat down to return or request service to find the return time and the service time has also expired. Bottom line - apparently these heaters are designed to work for approximately two months. Will be looking for a different product next time around. (Fall of 2023) INFERIOR PRODUCT

I have it cycle on and off every other hour. I have that set using a smart outdoor switch. Also of note it doesn’t have a ground terminal so needs to definitely be in a dry location.

I’ve read numerous negative reviews for this product and I couldn’t disagree more.Outside temperatures here in the mountains frequently get below 0^F throughout January and February. This heater is just what I was looking for and has functioned perfectly.About 3 years ago, I built my semi-feral kitty an outside shelter with some scrap materials (16”W x 15”H x 30”L). Soon afterwards, I installed this on the inside ceiling. It has been working flawlessly for over 2 years. The heater brings the inside temperature of her safe space up to 40 or 50^F under the most brutal weather conditions.It has worked out so well that I purchased tested a second one. I will keep it as a backup in case the original doesn’t last, or if I decide to adopt another cat. …Incidentally, she’s a great mouser and definitely earns her keep.

Bought the to try to keep my feral cats warm this winter. I always feel bad for them in the winter months because it's cold and I don't like to be cold. I have a large covered porch and they currently have large pet beds with an electric blanket....but the wind is miserable. So I purchased this and ordered wooden pet houses as this said it's safe around straw and wood. I will mount this inside the house when it arrives and hopefully they will stay happy and warm this winter.

Got this for my chicken coop....not enough heat output to bother with. Honestly a waste of money

The heater was easy to mount and my hens love it.
