As someone who has raised chickens for a few years, I have tried all kinds of feeders and in the end, they were junk. I have a grandpa feeder that is expensive and a learning curve for chickens, with a few weeks of training needed on it. This miller feeder is a fraction of the price and my large breed chickens can NOT perch on it ever. It has never been tipped over once with over twenty chickens in the yard. I have two of this under weather covers in the range yard and they eat freely, hardly spill a morsel, and even the rare occasion it has gotten wet, it drains the water but not the feed, and they can still eat it. I have saved SO much money in feed using this feeder! Excellent!

This made feeding 20 turkeys EASY!!!When 20 turkeys, each weighing 50 lbs each, rush you, it's scary alone.I installed this, and I can actually feed them THRU THE FENCE.I INTEND TO PURCHASE 1-2 MORE.

This product arrived damaged. The trough was bent out of shape. The rod was bent also. The metal making up the product was cheap.

Very surprised at how sturdy this feeder is. We have about 70 chickens and they haven't knocked it over yet. The handle on top spins around so they can't sit on it. It stays clean and upright. Will be buying a couple more. Great deal.

I bought two and they work as designed. It took a couple of days for my chickens to get used to them, now they eat with no problem. The top keeps the chickens from roosting or scratching in the food. It has saved us money by reducing the food waste. It May be an upfront cost, but will save you in wasted food. I’m ordering another one to spread out the feeding so my chickens are not so cramped together.

This trough is much smaller than the description describes, and for that reason will not hold nearly as much feed as we calculated for them to hold. After being made aware that the item did not match the description, the seller still refuses to allow us to return them without paying over $100 in shipping.

Tray came without legs and handle. Just the base tray was sent. This is the 2nd order for the same feeder tray. The first one came complete but not for this order. Submitted for a return of the product and replacement. I hope the tray is complete this time.

I just found my RARE BREED chicken DEAD due to these!! One of the legs collapsed, landing on her neck. It broke her neck and k*lled her! I HIGHLY recommend you DO NOT buy this product!!! I just lost a $50 hen!!!!
