This was the second dirndl I ordered after the first one (from a different company) was too snug. I found this sizing to be more "true" to American sizing than the first that I ordered. However, it is definitely a bit big on me but I would rather have it that way than tight. The chest area was a little out of proportion compared to the rest (very large) which was great for me as I have a larger bust but would probably be problematic for others. The dress is very pretty in person and is very true to the picture. The dress DOES NOT come with the blouse (there seemed to be some confusion on that). The quality looks good, particularly compared to the first one I ordered. Why only 4 stars? There is one pocket on the right, but not on the left, which feels very "off." In addition I don't think the quality matches $119, as it is very good but not out of this world excellent.

It's a beautiful dirndl. It didn't come with the apron though so I'm forced to return and re-order.After new dress showed up, I noticed there was makeup on the white blouse. Still beautiful but still a hassle.

This is by far the prettiest Dirndl I bought (and I have several). I usually have a size 6 in US, I ordered a 8 - fits perfectly. Dirndl made in Germany usually turn out a bit smaller than US sizes. The fabric is beautiful and the color is just like in the picture...can't wait for our upcoming Oktoberfest 😊

Love love love the fabric, stitching and details that went into making this drindl however I’m giving the item three stars. The item stated 3 pieces; I received the drindl dress and apron, no blouse. The item runs small, order up. I wear a size 4 and size 37 was extremly tight not allowing room to breathe. Had I received all three pieces, I’d give it a 4 as it probably would still run small.

I really love my dirndl dress. Took the advice of others and went up sizes. Used the chest measurement to choose my size - it turned out perfectly. However, if you're not sure choose the larger size and then you can hem / adjust when it arrives. I like the colours and the apron, a lovely length as well. Doesn't look cheap or "sexy" in the halloween sense but still definitely shows off some things. Will be keeping this dirndl for years - worth the investment.

Really nice quality dress, apron and shirt. Even the skirt is lined. I had ordered another dirndl but it felt cheap and like a throwaway costume. I'm looking forward to wearing this to many Oktoberfest celebrations! I ordered two sizes up from my normal which ended up slightly too big, but lacing the front tighter pretty much fixes that.

It's gorgeous but since it zips on the size you have to order up because you can't ,"suck in your sides" to zip it.... Difficult to put on too. Expect it to be a little loose up top even tightened with the lace unless you have absolutely thin well defined torso

I ordered this dress to wear at Oktoberfest in Munich. It is lovely. Very good quality materials. I ordered 2 sizes up from my regular dress size and it fit well. Please note, this does not come with the blouse, you need to order separately. Don't skimp on the cheaper dresses, this one is worth every penny! I can't wait for another opportunity to wear this again! Prost!
