Great Product
I have used this product for over a year now and it has been the best hair product I have used so far. The one I used for a while before this was American Crew Fiber, which had too weak of a hold.My Hair Type: I am a guy with thick black hair and I blow dry it up before applying this product.Hold: Really strong even in really windy conditions but can also be slightly restyled and played around with if you want to.Finish: Slightly shiny but if you put less you can get a nice matte finish.Wash: Easily washes out of hair with soap and water. From my hands after I apply it, it takes a lot of soap to get it to wash off.Smell: I personally don't mind the smell of it and I don't think it's strong enough for other people to smell it anyway.Use: I take a penny size, spread it throughout my hands and apply it evenly throughout my hair. I go for a second round of a bit more if needed.

This stuff works great for me! (bought because of Amazon and "The Pomp" Youtube reviews
I have relatively fine, medium length hair that lies completely fluffy and straight with no product. This is the first product that I have used that can easily hold my hair up and back all day and can still handle me running my fingers through my hair every once in a while. It does give have a bit of a gel feel and is tacky all day long, but doesn't leave a sticky residue on my hands like a gel and looks much more natural. Also doesn't really get greasy compared to some of the Crew products I have tried in the past.I still need to get the right amount down to a science, but I do have to use a bit more of it than I am used to with other products. I was super hesitant at first because of how greasy some other products get, but it really hasn't been an issue. The only con I can give this is personal preference... the sweet vanilla smell doesn't do it for me. It isn't awful, but I prefer a more odorless or neutral scent and this is really NOT that. Regardless, this will be my go to until I find something better.

Soft flexible hold
Great product for someone with wavy/curly hair like myself. I like to leave my hair with its natural curls. Most products have a stiff hold that makes the hair feel hard and brittle to the touch. This feels much more natural, while keeping the frizzies under control.

Perfect…. Eventually
I love the hold of it. At first, I was having a lot of white residue in my hair. Then, my barber gave the tip to COMB MY HAIR after I rub it all in. EUREKA!! Made all the difference. Now, this is my favorite hair product once I got the hang of it. It’s matte, so there’s no shine. Also, do not expect ANY hair paste/clay to hold all day. Part of the fun of using a product like this is the ability to restyle with your hand and looking damn good.

Great hair clay with very little downsides
This hair clay is definitely my favorite that I've tried so far. It holds my hair incredibly well without giving it a gross shininess. I have longish hair (goes down to about my mouth when pulled down during my shower) and it holds all of it very well. It also impresses me that I'm still able to touch up my hair throughout the day despite the clays strength. The scent is also pretty pleasing. It smells like vanilla crossed with unscented hair clay. The vanilla scent isn't too strong so you don't smell like that all day but you do notice it if you smell the container. I also use much less clay than I used to with different products. The one downside I have to this product is that it leaves my hair slightly darker in appearance. I have weird blond colored hair that looks light brown to golden blond depending on the lighting. Using this clay makes it lean more heavily towards the brown side. I don't think this will be an issue for most people but I prefer when my hair looks golden rather than brown.I still love this clay and it will probably be my go to for years to come but I just wanted to make note of the slight color difference in my hair after using this product. I wish there was an option for 4.5 stars because I really love this clay I just don't want to say it's perfect.

The Bee’s Knees.
This stuff is the Bee’s knees! I bought it because they stopped selling Rudy’s clay pomade and I wasn’t sure if this would measure up as a replacement. Well, it does. It is a fantastic product and the scent is pleasingly refreshing and not at all overpowering. The texture is perfect and unlike my old product it comes off of my hands so easily. Now for the part you want. It gives my hair the perfect volume and it holds up all day. I have medium fine short blonde hair and it styles and holds better than I had hoped. Please spread the word on Layrite cement clay. Get the word out this stuff is like no other.

Amazing hair product
I have tried A LOT of hair products to try achieve the look that I want. If you are going for a look with medium hold, low-medium shine, and a lot of texture then buy this product. If you want a visual picture, check out Grant Gavin on google. He is an actor that uses this product, and that’s how I found it.Additional comments:The greatest smelling hair product I have ever used, idk how to describe the smell though. The product is easily workable so you can change the look anytime you want.Your hair feels like it’s thicker, but it doesn’t have a gel type of feeling to it which I love. So if you’re lucky and a girl runs her fingers through your hair, she can’t tell that you have product in it.I’m honestly writing this review because it seems like most products change after a while, and the new product usually sucks, so please don’t change.
