I have experience with this exact brand in a different color so I know they are excellent.They don’t get hot in the microwave. They are incredibly durable, almost unable to chip, ie. takes a lot to happen if after several years of ample use. They are easy to wash by hand or dishwasher.Only down side to these are the large plates are a bit heavy without food. They are sturdy! Be aware- Large plates are NOT for kids, but the small size are easily handled by kids since they are not heavy. The bowls are FANTASTIC!Gorgeous! In fact I knew what they would be like but they have surpassed even my experience of similar sets. The blue is speckled & has depth. The flowers are abundant! Like a blooming tulip tree!

I haven't had these long nor do I use the mugs so I can't speak much to the durability, but price wise and for what you get I am THRILLED. They are absolutely gorgeous and it is really difficult to find bowls that are this wide and sturdy feeling while still being deep. I am very happy with this purchase!

I love these they are so stylish love the square plates.They are very heavy and just fit in my cabinet.I saw a review started the plate exploded in the microwave... I find that Hard to believe. Unless that person put it in for 10 minutes.I put in the microwave and dishwasher I have even put in the oven at a low temperature to keep dinner warm.What an absolutely beautiful set so glad I bought them. A++

This set is beautiful. They look & feel classy and the size is perfect since they are slightly larger than normal dishes (except for the mugs, which are normal sized). I might end up buying another set so I have an eight piece setting. In all honesty, I could do without the mugs. They are plain & I don't drink coffee & prefer larger mugs for tea, but that's more of a personal preference for me, since I usually don't use the mugs that come with dinnerware sets. They do match the other dishes nicely.

Always received compliments on them as the colors are so vibrant. Only thing I don't care for is how they are not all the exact same around the plates. Half are higher lipped then others. So when stacked they look uneven. That's about the worse of it. The square plates can really hold some food. Now I can put a roll in the corner and it isn't soggy due to food right next to it.

We've had these dishes for years. We put them on our registry for our wedding in 2016. I've dropped a couple and broke them, so I ordered more recently. They came well packaged, and nothing broke from shipping. We haven't had any problems with them in the dishwasher or cooking. I like how they stack in the dishwasher because their square. However, the large plates don't fit on our microwave, so you might want to measure your microwave before you order these. Over the years, we've had some compliments on our plates. The Gibson website has been out of stock with these for sometime, so I finally ordered from Amazon. If you're reordering, be careful to reorder the right design. Order the Bloombury design, and not the lighter Bloomington design...I made that mistake.

Absolutely beautiful. Just an FYI square plates always break easily, corners get bumped and chip (I’ve had square plates for 15 years now).I love that each plate is just a tad different, they have a very artisan look while being uniform.I have been watching and wanting the plates for some time, managed to get them at $57 a set vs $97 a set (huge price swings)

These are beautiful dishes. I wish the plates were a bit smaller as they just barely fit into my cupboard. The salad plate are smaller than I expected and are disproportionate to the size of the dinner plate, but I love them. Bowls are a bit big for cereal but great as serving dishes. I bought two sets and am happy with them.

The dinnerware is very beautiful, absolutely what I expected! However, the large dinner plate does not fit in my dishwasher...the spinning thingy will hit it. I don't have an adjustable dishwasher so i can't adjust the height of the top rack. I've only had these for a month so I can't speak to the durability but so far so good. They are kinda heavy but I don't mind because they are beauties!I have also ordered an ivory colored square dinnerware set to go with this...mix and match. Large ivory dinner plate and a colorful square salad plate (or whatever the small plate is for) on top.

Wow...these are very pretty dishes!! Dishwasher safe, Microwave safe, and Oven proof. I've just ordered nice display racks for them, to keep them from getting chipped when stacked. The dinner plates are man-sized!I am so happy that I finally ordered them when I caught them at a lower price! 😊

I ordered 2 set, thank God, all arrived in one piece. No damages. Fast delivery. Beautiful! Easy to hand wash, not heavy and fits perfectly in my dishwasher too. I can't speak how durable this product right now as i just got them, but they seems okay.

These are quite heavy for the intended purposes but I am certain that some people will prefer that because they want something really solid and sturdy. However, they chip easily like the cheap dinnerware and honestly, they do not look at as good in person. For the price, you are better off buying something cheaper and has better variation. I wish it had a taller 5 inch soup bowl.

I have shopped around for a nice large plate set and these are them! The only downfall is the dinner plates have to be put in my dishwasher on a slant just a tad too big,but love this set!
