Perfect driftwood!
After looking at the drift wood my local fish/aquatic stores have (extremely pricey for - in my opinion - crappy shapes and sizes). I was hesitant about ordering wood because I cant choose my pieces, but they are absolutely perfect! The shapes of them are so fun and I cannot wait to add these to my 20 gallon! Just make sure you soak them a good week or two before adding to your tank and change the water everyday. Very heavy on tannins but that’s as expected because it’s wood! I’ll probably add it to my tank after a week and let the filter do the rest while my tank cycles. Great purchase, will buy from here again!

Just as described
So I can’t vouch for longevity with these guys but so far I am loving them. I soaked them all for several hours the day I got them so they wouldn’t color my water too much when I put them in and they didn’t! Just a slight tint of brownness. For context, I am currently setting up a 22 shallow tank for a betta, ember tetras and panda corys and these wood pieces are going to look fabulous once I cover them in all the plants I have coming in! I’m very excited and will try to remember to update once it’s finished for a final product reviewUpdate: It’s been a couple weeks since I bought them and they did stain the water more than I’d like but after a couple water changes the water is clear and a very light brown which is fine. I really love the look of these with my newly installed plants!

Great pieces of wood
I made a great purchase after a ton of looking for the right pieces. These two wood pieces are heavy and look great in my 20 gallon tank. My sorority of 6 betta fish love it.I soaked the wood for a week in my bathtub with 2 water changes per day (morning and night). They only mildly turned the water a light tea color. I don't mind and neither do any of my fish or plants. If you are looking for awesome pieces, try these!

DO NOT USE IN SMALL TANKS!!!
I absolutely love this in my 30 gal tank as it lends a lot of natural beauty to my river themed Aquascape. However I learned real fast that while some will fit beautifully in my 6 gal tank it soon became apparent that it is a no go. It looked beautiful to begin with but I had no clue why my water kept becoming a clear brown color (newbie here so I’ve now learned about “tanning”) after almost 2 months (and a lot of Google-ing) I gave up on the wood part of my river theme. The water cleared up nicely (after a little over a week and 2 filter changes). I went well in both tanks and made the Aquascape flow well; however while the brown water fit the river theme it kinda washed out the color of my guppies so it is what it is. Lesson learned. I don’t think I will be using this again on a tank less than 20 gal.

Smaller then you think but surprisingly good quality.
The media could not be loaded. I got these for my new leapord gecko so might only pertain to folks with reptilesI'll say it might be my bad for thinking they were gonna be bigger but they ended up being perfect for the enclosure anyway. These are really solid pieces of wood. They have weight to them and have a deep brown color, making them look very natural in the set up.If you're thinking about these being something for your animal to climb on however, this might not be what you're looking for, especially for a bigger reptile. The leapord gecko I have is about 6 inches long for example and for him it's good, but if I had gotten this for my bearded dragon (almost 2 feet long) he would tower over these things lol. So take that into consideration if you're looking at these for something like that.Otherwise, I'm really happy with these and will probably buy more in the future.

3 Weeks and Still Leaching Dye
The wood looks nice, however, I still don't know what it looks like in my son's tank. Over the past week and a half, following the directions that came with it, I've boiled it for a few hours 3 times now, and have soaked it non-stop. It's STILL leaching out allot of dye.I'm not clear on why a product made for an aquarium should be like this. If I had known how much is involved just to make it usable and safe for his tank, I wouldn't have purchased.Edited 10-Sep-21:3 weeks. I've boiled this wood for hours on end, 5 times now. I've soaked it non-stop when I'm not boiling it. I've tried adding baking soda as in the directions. It's STILL releasing the color. When I boil it or soak it a couple days, the water is dark as tea. I don't know how many gallons of water or how much natural gas I've used boiling this, but I'm done. Returning this product.

Beautiful wood for vivariums
I was so pleasantly surprised by how nice these pieces of wood were especially given the price. I was expecting small pieces but they were very large and really intricate looking. They’ve made beautiful additions to the hardscape in my vivariums. I will be ordering more.
