I actually bought this mat to give the illusion of brick on a gingerbread house. It looks great. Using the mat takes a little bit of practice... it is small and I did have some edge lines if I pressed too hard. Even so, overlapping is barely noticable for my project. I impressed my pattern on raw gingerbread and i did not bake out.. perfect!

Works good. I used this mold with fondant. It makes an adequate looking burlap. It was a little hard to make the edges line up and look like one continuous strip of burlap. After some practice it is great. It would be better if the mat was longer and narrower like a strip of burlap is. I think it might also work with sugar veil but the mat is small so you couldn't make very much at a time because it takes some time to dry. The burlap mat sold by sugar veil is a lot bigger but also more expensive

Wish the size was larger, but still made it work without much difficulty.Made a burlap sack in fondant to hold chocolate gold coins for a cake I'm making

Good quality, give beautiful texture to fondant work. Easy to wash and air dry. I would recommend this to anyone who loves decorating cake like myself.

It’s not a mat. It’s a coaster. Way to small. Was not what I expected. I’m returning it.
