Not for series 2 - Operator error
I thought these were for an elite series 2 controller. After realizing I was wrong I assumed they went to a normal series controller. Wrong again and even broke one of the grips clips off trying to put it on. After realizing my stupidity I grabbed my old elite series 1 and it fit just fine even with 1 of the clips missing. I have to say looks great and don’t try to put these on your series 2. Fun fact: it won’t fit.

Keeping my og Elite Controller going!
The good news is that this was a very easy repair. Even if the rubber isn't pealing from your Elite Controller (ver 1), you may benefit from having a textured surface again, as I forgot the feeling given that the rubber on mine was smoothed out from use.I just don't know how to replace the rubber on the inside as these are only designed for the hand grip part. Will cross that bridge when I get to it.

Nice replacement
Bought this because my original grips were peeling. So far so good for the price. Feels the same as the original and the color matches nicely. Surprisingly easy to replace the originals and the kit contained everything I needed to do the job.

Yes there good.
After a long time using my original xbox one elite controller. I'm guessing a year and a half or something. My grips started to separate from the controller but the inside part but the outside back parts. The ones you can remove to begin taking apart the controller. Not that I ever did with my elite but that I'd done well over 15 times with the horrible, low quality, piece of crap controllers that Xbox somehow thought was ok to sell toits trusting customers. Seriously, after I had broken either the shift buttons or the thumb sticks had loosened beyond all reason or the controllers started to phantom drift or I guess zi squeeze them tight and the plastic shell around it felt loose and shifted slightly when I held it(enough to really bother me) on 2 replacement xbox brand controllers (you wouldnt assume they were so cheap at all considering the 70.00 cost of them). I had to resort to buying the off brands from Gamestop(like powerA and the like etc.) And get the year warranty and proceeded to return and exchange them over and over and over for months. Although, now to be honest if you dont mind the wired aspect, PowerA makes an amazing high quality elite level controller that costs like less than half the price of the elite or elite2 by Xbox called the PowerA Fusion Pro controller. Amazingly great controller that I cant believe is from PowerA. Anyways ,yes the replacement grips worked perfectly only downside was that you can kinda feel where the new grip starts and the old ones begin. Depending on how aggressive you are with your controller. I dont treat them bad or throw them or anything but in a heated game of DOA6 or Forza Horizon 3(not4) and especially Fortnite I can tend to grip them pretty hard so theres a ton of info that vears completely off course but that's the review.

Nice work. Series One Rides Again.
What a deal. I was ready to throw the controller in the garbage. I bought 2 series 2's to replace it, even. Under $20, series one just like new.
