Wow, it makes one more task not quite so difficult. By the end of an outing (Dr appt, Dinner, Movie, Visiting) I start to run out of steam. It gets just a little more difficult to lift my feet to start a move. Like, getting in the car (SUV), starting up the steps (once on the first one, I'm good to go), getting my foot up to remove my shoes & socks, just to give you an idea of what works well for me. It is extremely well made and very strong. I am 6'+ and weigh more than the average bear. So it has a job to do lifting my foot off the ground, but works like a charm. Recommended for quality construction, value of use, ease of use.

This is a very good product if you have a weak leg and need help lifting it or you have a cast or surgery to the leg. Only problem I had was remembering to keep it close by. Really helped to relieve the stress on my tendons in my leg after I had surgery to re-attach. Especially helped to get in car and to get out of bed. I was able to assist my leg with my arm muscles by using this device, instead of stress the tendon before it was healed. The way it holds the loop open so you can put it on your foot was really great.

Just had my first hip replacement surgery and saw this online before I went in for the surgery. I got it about a week before the surgery and practiced with it a couple t times to see how it would work. It looked so much more substantial then the others. It came in and I was really surprised at the quality of the product. Heavy nylon, metal rod sewn into the length of the lift, spring metal sewn in the foot loop to keep it open, heavy metal rings on the loop just a good quality product. I took it to the hospital with me and just about anyone who saw it including the surgeon was impressed. It worked like a charm. I only needed it for about a week but when you need it to get in and out of bed and the car on the way home, you need it. I would highly recommend this product.

I purchased this lift strap while suffering a comeback from a long medical disability. I didn't have the strength to life my leg to get into an automobile or onto my bed. This leg strap made all the difference in the world while I worked on strengthing my leg so I didn't have to rely on someone to help me with trips to the doctor and/or getting into my own bed. Rather than pass it on to someone else when I no longer needed help with these chores, I became selfish and kept it in my storage so I would always have it sometime down the line if needed again. Can't always rely on some of the good things that work for me to still be available if called upon. I recommend this highly to those not wanting to always rely on others for help.

This strap is the 4th of similar items I have previously purchased. It works for its stated purpose. The material, however, seems cheaper than the nice polyesters I have had previously. The foot portion was pre-bent for foot insertion, but is narrow if one is wearing shoes. I do like the black color, but overall, it's not as nice a product as others.
