TimexMen's South Street Sport 36mm Perfect Fit Watch

It’s a Timex! It takes a licking and keeps on ticking-nothing has changed. A great American iconic classic. These watches are a great value. Very light and comfortable. Super easy to read, even for a senior.

The watch arrived 4 days after order. The mailing envelope arrived looking fine, however the watch box inside was crushed and damaged. The watch itself looked fine, and after removing the plastic crown guard and pushing in the crown, the watch began running................for about 8 hours, and then stopped. I inspected the rear case cover and discovered a tiny nick on the edge as if something had been used to pry it open. I immediately began processing a return, which was quick & simple; opting for a replacement, which again arrived promptly in less than a week, but again, the mailing envelope was undamaged & the watch box was beat up even worse than the previous one; torn and crushed. Again, the watch itself appeared undamaged, but the hands were misaligned; with the minute hand at 12, the hour hand was between numerals. I don't believe there is any way to fix this short of removing it completely from the case, which I chose not to attempt. Instead, I again processed a return. Do I learn from my mistakes? Maybe not. I ordered the watch for the third time. I hope third time's the charm, because I really like the looks and price. BTW: This is to replace a similar Timex with a white face I purchased 30+ years ago for about $20, wore regularly, only replacing the battery twice, but lost in the yard when it fell out of my pocket while mowing the lawn. Maybe Timex isn't what it used to be. What is?

This is the perfect watch for someone who, like me, inherited small wrists from both his mother and father and has been unable to beef them up and/or increase size despite years of working out. The case size (36mm) thickness (8.5mm) and the very easy self-adjustable (18mm) band make it an almost a religious experience to have finally found a watch that isn't too big, too bulky or too heavy. The icing on the cake is to receive compliments on how great it looks, too. Don't delay, buy one today and change your life F O R E V E R!

Great watch. Minimal designed, but still classy. The only problem is the Indigo backlight stopped working after a couple of weeks.

Indigo is not functional at night.

My Aunt made it point to give me tell how nice my new watch is in front of her husband. He wears a Rolex. I saw him inspecting his watch after seeing mine. His cost around 5 grand. They both do the same thing.

Broke on the first day I had it

The quick adjust linkage is not durable enough for this to be considered a watch suitable for manual labor. I broke it irreparably within 2 hours of day one.
