I don't write many Amazon reviews but occasionally I like or dislike a product enough that I think it deserves one. Fortunately, this one is because I like it!My master bathroom has no fan and I live in Mississippi, one of the most humid states in the country. This leads to an extremely humid master bedroom every time I take a shower, and the humidity just never leaves so I end up going to sleep in a wet bed. Obviously I needed a dehumidifier, so I bought the H0melabs 50 pint. All the reviews talked about how well it worked and how quiet it was, but their definition of quiet and my definition of quiet was completely different, especially for something that would be at the foot of my bed. It had a white noise, but was so loud I still couldn't sleep through it.So I returned it and bought this Eurgreen 20 pint one after extensive research on the quietest dehumidifiers and what exactly the decibel scale meant. The h0melabs one said it was only 57 decibels while this Eugreen said it was around 50. I didn't realize 7 decibles makes such a tremendous difference. It says whisper-quiet in the description, and it definitely isn't "whisper-quiet" but seems at least 3x quieter than the h0melabs. I can have the fan on "high" and easily sleep through it with it being at the foot of my bed.Only negative is the water collection tray is a lot smaller than the h0melabs unit, but then again the whole thing is smaller as well. Still, they should have made it a little bigger, it fills up in 6-8 hours. I'm planning to route the hose through my exterior wall so this won't really matter to me long-term.Conclusion, I don't go to bed with wet and sticky sheets, have a very noticeable humidity drop in my room 30 minutes after taking a shower compared to what it was before, and I can sleep through the night with this thing running full blast. I don't think there is a dehumidifier out there that's this quiet and pulls out this much water, and trust me I've looked. There are silent ones that use a different mechanism than a compressor, but they barely work and are for areas like small closets, not bedrooms and next to showers.

Our family of 4 plus a dog live in our RV full time, and battling excessive humidity was previously a loosing battle. I tried several of the small units that don't run a compressor first because I have had a compressor running unit in the past. It was extremely loud and would be totally unsuitable for such small quarters. None of the other units did the job, and our windows continued to drip water all winter long. I finally broke down and bought this unit after reading several reviews and answered questions indicating that it was quiet, and they are correct. It is a very quiet unit, and it effectively removes moisture from the air. We empty it at least twice a day and some rainy days require three empties. It's small enough to fit nicely in a corner next to the slide out, and has run without a problem for a couple of months now.My only complaint is the excessive number of beeps when the bucket fills. I believe it beeps about 9 -12 times. This may be good in some situations, but I find it wakes us up at night when the bucket fills. I shall just have to figure out a way to drain it outside with the included draining hose.

I just got this dehumidifier. I followed all the instructions which are written in horribly translated English btw. It ran all night in a humid room (according to the meter on the machine at over 60%) and it did not pull a single drop of water into the bucket! I have had dehumidifiers before so I know how they are supposed to work. I had to wait over a week to receive this thing and now I have to go through the hassle of returning it. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE NUMBER LISTED ANYWHERE IN THE PACKAGING. And only a vague, sketchy email. Has definitely turned me off from buying larger appliances off of Amazon.

The unit seemed fine when we bought it. We brought for our condo and hooked up a hose for it to run continually. We came back to our condo 6 weeks later and it had leaked everywhere. The water is coming from somewhere inside the unit, it's not leaking where the tubing is connected or even inside the bucket it's leaking from inside the unit we are not happy. Hopefully we can return it and get our money back. **UPDATE!! The company promptly replace our unit after we reported that it was leaking. I was impressed by the quickness of their replacement and their prompt courteous customer service the new unit is working fine. I changed my review from a 1 to a 4, and if this new unit continues to work good I will change it to a 5.

Bought this 2.5 years ago and it is still working just as well today as when its was new. We are in Florida so it is running all day every day. I would highly recommend this dehumidifier for anyone needing a compact unit if you have limited space like we do. We are using this in our motorhome and there is no room in here for a full size dehumidifier, this one fits pretty well in the small about of space we have.I am very sensitive to noises, I hate when I can hear fan noise, buzzing from the refrigerator, etc. Occasionally this will make some noise, my wife doesn't notice it but it really bugs me; I just turn it off and back on and the noise is gone. I am very happy with how quietly it runs, as you can see in the photo, it is right next to our TV and it doesn't bother us.

This dehumidifier is very nice looking, very compact, quiet, and has some cool features, however I feel the description of its functions were miss leading. Although the machine as an adjustable humistat and says the machine will shut off automatically when target humidity level is reached, that is not entirely true. The compressor does shut off, however the fan continues to run constantly. I feel as though that is pointless, it adds extra stress, wear and tear on the product and also runs up your electric for no reason.With that being said I am going to return this item. It's a shame because other than that I really like the product.
