*Update* 20 April: This pen is still working wonderfully. The threads seem to have tightened down on their own and the tip is no longer loose. The bolt, however, needed some slight repairs. The shaft that connects the bold to the internal mechanism lost whatever was holding it together (a pin, I think). This was easily fixed with a few drops of super glue to connect them (inside the pen body). Works like a champ.I purchased this pen in December 2020 for ~$18. I think that is a fair price. I really like how narrow the tip is a it really fits my righting style. The plunger/release action feels crisp and clean. I only have one criticism of this pen - the tip will start to unscrew while writing (at least for me) and will , eventually, wear down the threads that keep the tip into the body. These threads are extremely fine and run for a fairly long length, but there isn't enough friction to keep the tip firmly attached. Since it's aluminum, it IS possible to narrow the body by rolling it (like a child rolling out a snake with play-doh), but it is difficult to ensure it's the proper fit.I would definitely purchase another - especially if the threads were more resilient.

Love how it writes! It has a nice thin line and doesn't take a lot of pressure to make the ink come out. The only thing I don't like (and I have this problem with a lot of pens not just this one) is that the clip hits my hand while I hold the pen a certain way. I was able to just pop it off and use the pen without the clip and I like that very much. It feels very well balanced in your hand and has a nifty button on the side to retract the ballpoint back into the pen. The silver body has a nice feeling to it but without the very heavy weight a lot of tactical looking pens have.

For what this pen cost, you would expect better. It feels cheap and sounds cheap, with all of its rattling. It writes ok, but definitely nothing special. The Jetstream Edge is a MUCH better needle point pen, it writes better, looks better, feels better, and its cheaper. I feel cheated for what I paid for this subpar item. Save your money and don't be like me.

I love pens. I have way too many stashed around the house and my office. And, as we become more and more digital, I don't find myself using one as much as I want. I read an article that was ranking pens, and this one scored within the top 5. So, I thought I would give it a go. I like a really fine point and this has it. Even though it's not a gel pen, the ink shows up fairly bold on my note pad. I would definitely recommend this pen. It has style and function!

I bought this pen after reading an article in NY Magazine about the best pens on the market right now. This pen was ranked #2 out of 100. Honestly it hasn't changed my life (like the discontinued Uniball Vision Exact did many years ago) but this really is a great pen. The little button to retract the tip is very cool, and it has a sleek aluminum (or aluminum-like) body. Definitely a unique item, and a great writer. I will buy this pen again for sure.

I'm a bit dweebish about pens , always on the prowl for a good pen and this is one them, a nice find. Very smooth writing action and like the sleek feel. Only reason it's not at full 5 stars is the push button on mine tends to stick to where the pen won't set in the writing position put alitte graphite as best I could on it , it seems to help but every now and again it has that little hiccup.

I love fine point pens and, for me, this one is perfect. The line is consistent and the ink doesn't smear. My husband used it once and wants one of his own. I highly recommend it if you like fine point writing.

Exactly what I was expecting when I ordered it. The pen writes so well, thin lines, and easy to write in a work diary maximizing space. Great product...what you would normally expect from Japan anyways...

Bought this 6 months ago. Now, suddenly, when I press the button at the side, the top button shoots out of the pen. I really regret buying this pricey but beautiful item.

Der Kugelschreiber liegt gut in der Hand und hat eine sehr filigrane Schriftlinie. Von Nachteil ist dass die Kugelspitze etwas kleckst und die Minen sehr teuer im Nachkauf sind.
