I am expecting a watercolor sketchbook, but the paper is so thin that the watercolor can be seen clearly on the other side of the paper, I don't really use it as a notebook for writing something actually, but the leather cover is really nice, so I decided to keep it.

Love the leather smell but its pricey at 1100rs. It should be around 800 700 range

Some positive reviews are definitely seen here, but buying such a substandard product always causes you to feel bitterly disappointed 😞☹️. Pathetic 🥺 really! The paper quality of this journal is awfully bad and to a great extent hinders you from using fountain pens. I have tried 6 different types of fountain pens only to see disappointingly bad results. Pages are thick, but too rough! Fountain pens bleed profusely and ugly ink smudges can be seen on the pages. On the whole the paper quality of this journal is never suitable for the use of fountain pens. I would undoubtedly have returned this rustic rubbish had I not used it. It costs you about 1200 rupees while buying. But it is never worth the amount of money you are paying.

La cubierta es de cuero auténtico con muy buena hechura, se siente suave y flexible. El papel tiene es muy grueso y tiene un tono crema casi amarillo. La textura que tiene es un tanto extraña, es similar a los papeles hechos a mano, me recuerda un poco al de una servilleta lisa de papel o una cartulina muy porosa. A pesar de la textura, el papel funciona muy bien con bolígrafos, lápices y pluma fuente y la tinta no se absorbe demasiado ni se transparenta.Un inconveniente es que no es de tamaño estándar, así que no se puede reemplazar el papel que trae por un block A5 o media carta, porque no cabe.

I was hoping for plain white paper, I had a feeling this would happen.. My odds of getting a nice leather strapped sketchbook is near pointless. I already have 4 or 5 leather stitched hand journals, mostly all if not all with cotton paper and that material is sad to try and sketch with. The graphite doesn't apply well and erasing makes a bigger mess on the paper.

I've been playing a lot of Red Dead Redemption 2 recently and it sparked in me a desire to get myself a journal. After some browsing I came upon this product and it's attractive appearance, reasonable price and good reviews convinced me to buy it. The product arrived on time and is a pleasure to look at and hold. It's a little different from the one Arthur carries in the game, but I don't consider that a drawback. The paper is pleasantly thick and enjoyable to write and sketch on. As part of the package you receive a nifty canvas bag to keep your journal in, as well as a "Thank You" letter from the owner of the company, both of which were a nice touch. I'm very happy with my purchase, and will definitely be considering Rustic Town for any future such items.
