Sweet Soul (Sweet Home Series Book 5)

Levi and Elsie quite literally broke my heart and put it back together with their beautiful story. A very powerful and moving story that would melt even the most frozen of hearts.There is so much in their stories that is relatable to people. But what should not home the most is bullying and the effects it has on people. Some people are lucky enough to never have suffered torment at the hands of others but for those have you will feel Elsie's pain right along with her. Tillie has captured the emotions perfectly as she usually does and I felt it all.Levi and Elsie are beautifully delicate characters who have so much to give and yet are both held back by insecurities and emotions too big for themselves alone. I love how they change each other's life, how they grow and how they teach each other and even us as readers.This is definitely one of my favourite reads, I have fallen so in love with their story and the brutal honesty of it, I think it stole a piece of my heart and that's ok with me.

What an amazing ending to this series!!!Absolutely loved this series all the way through and this one hooked me in just the same... and im so happy that Levi got his story!Emotions galore yet again felt from start to the very end of this book! IAs the youngest of the Carrillo family Levi has seen his fair share of hardship destruction and death throughout his 20 years.. hes been lost and broken... though is now finding himself in a better place in life but just feels like there's something major missing.Elsie has had a rough childhood... shes also been lost broken and bullied until she could take no more.... having to be the parent when it comes to herself and her mum shes never known how to life.When life brings these 2 together it does so with a bang!!!Loved reading this story.. loved updates on the others Rome Molly Austin Lexi Ally and Axel too.. could read about these guys all day everyday.

In this 5th book in the Sweet Home series Levi the youngest Carrillo boy is living with his brother Austin, his wife and their son while he finishes college; but in his shyness and loneliness he is only living half a life. Study and football are his only outlets and he cannot get over the circumstances and death of his mother. He discovers a homeless girl Elsie who lives rough and is quite ill. His efforts to help Elsie force him out of himself, and in doing this he finds she has as many if not more demons than he has. They begin to heal each other and in doing so find their soulmates in this sweet story of first love and in fact first everything.Love this series and love Tillie Cole's writing so a perfect combination. This series needs to be read in order really, however extremely highly recommended.

The last book on my Sweet Home series binge… And it’s Levi’s. The baby Carillo brother who you first meet in Sweet Fall.He’s all grown up! In college, playing football and living a nice life… Of course, he has issues with the events in his past but he’s not screwed up. He’s just shy and he’s incredibly sweet.Then there is his misses, Elsie.Elsie has issues, but she’s got a good heart and events lead her to Levi and the rest is history.Sweet Soul is such an apt title for this book, for it truly is a tale of two such sweet souls coming together and refusing to be parted.It occurs a year or two after Sweet Hope, so we get an update on all the couples from the previous books of the series as their lives are tangled together and it’s really nice watching it all come full circle.However, something was missing from this book. Levi and Elsie definitely have a bond but, for me, it wasn’t as strong as the bond between the other couples. I couldn’t fully connect with Levi or Elsie. They didn’t make my soul or my heart ache the way the others did.The story was sweet but it didn’t make my heart race… I just don’t know how to describe what was missing beyond saying it just didn’t capture the magic the others had.Never-the-less, Sweet Soul, is a nice conclusion to a wonderful series of books that will go straight onto my favourites shelf for a long time to come.

Here it is. The final book we have all been waiting for. Our poor, shy and lost soul. I have cried for him before we even got his book.Levi is the youngest and probably the most haunted of the carillo boys. His beautiful soul is lost and so alone, while everyone else around him are happy and full of life.Elsie is his perfect match. There could not have been anyone more perfect for him than her. She fixes him, she makes him whole. And he does the same for her. Perfect end to this whirlwind of a series.
