Best Ironing Board
This is a great ironing board. It was just what I was looking for! It is sturdy but lightweight. It feels firm when you are ironing on it and it does not move or shake like those flimsy old school ironing boards do. It is well made and I think the base of this ironing board is the key to how sturdy it feels. It is easily adjustable height wise and folds up easily as well.It is plenty long enough to iron men's pants on so you don't have to worry about the length of the board. The ironing board pad is pink and black and comes with a pink "hot mat" to place your iron on. This is easily removable as it only slides on the end with a clip. The thing I noticed is that when you fold up the board, this does fall off, so I just removed mine completely as I currently do not need it. The legs of the board are black.Overall a fantastic ironing board and great price. I love it.

perfect for my needs.
I had a very reliable "old ironsides" (pun) board, but after downsizing it was too large for the area I had available. This one is sturdy enough, sits well on my wood floor, lightweight enough to store on a door hanger while still feeling sturdy when set up, love the round pad to house my iron since I have a tendency to burn that section of my ironing board cover. Although it is shorter than standard, I barely can tell the difference and I sew a lot and consequently iron a lot. For me it serves the purpose just as well as the standard size. Possibly one reason it is perfect for me is that the bottom legs do not extend beyond the footprint of the ironing board as my old one did and as a result makes the space I need even more efficient. The handle that you use to open and close the ironing board seems just a little flimsy, but my old board was so heavy it just may seem that way and this is not reason enough to drop a star. I couldn't ask for a better choice than this one -- very happy with it.

Fixed the wobble problem with no shims.
Arrived in good shape but the board rocked with about a 1/4" gap under one of the legs. The board was not usable in this condition. I was able to correct the problem by marking the diagonal pair of legs that were in contact with the floor. I then closed the board and held it vertically and tilted it slightly so one of the marked legs touched the floor and banged the board against the floor with a couple of moderate taps. This drove the leg further into the plastic end cap and evened out the legs. No more rocking! If you don't get enough adjustment with that leg turn the board over and bang the other marked leg. Go slowly so you don't shorten the leg too much. Once the rocking was eliminated the board is nice and stable and more solid than the bargain Walmart brands. Now I am very happy with the board and glad I did not have to tape a shim to the leg to fix the problem.

Very stable
Lack of stability has been an ongoing issue for ironing boards for the last several years I’m very pleased that this ironing board is very stable. I also did not want a board with the extension meant to hold the iron. That extension just takes up too much room even though we have a relatively large house. I like the repositionable “hot spot”. I would recommend this ironing board.

The worst.
Do not buy this. Ironing board itself is OK but packaging and ironing board cover are a bad joke. The board arrived in a dirty ripped and taped back together, very thin cardboard box. I thought for sure the board would be bent but it was ok. I unwrapped the plastic and there was a product sheet attached to the ironing board cover. By attached I mean glued. When I tried removing the cover the paper ripped, leaving two 12 inch long strips of glue particles and bits of paper attached to the fabric. I tried to pick it off. Impossible. I got a wet rag and tried to wipe or dissolve the glue and paper off. Rubbed for 10 minutes. Finally got the paper bits off but adhesive strips remained. Instruction said to iron with a steam iron before use. I figured maybe the steam iron would get rid of the adhesive. Nope. Adhesive smeared on the iron. Melted deeper into the fabric. When you try to iron on the cover as suggested it's like trying to iron fly paper. The iron does not slide easily. It sticks and grabs the fabric and bunches it up. I had a spare new ironing board cover in the drawer. I figured I would just use that instead. No way. This ironing board is 3-5 inches shorter then typical, so good luck trying to find a generic cover. So I had to put the Minky cover back on. Most ironing board covers have the padding layer sewn to the outer layer. Not the Minky. It has a separate thin pad you lay down first. Good luck trying to place the outer cover without bunching up the pad. It slides this way and that and you have to spend a lot of time getting it to be not bunched up. A waste of money. Can't return board (box destroyed.) If I order a new Minky cover will it have the product sheet glued to that as well??? Disgusted.

As sturdy as I had hoped for.
I wanted a board with sturdy legs. I read many reviews on many boards and even though this one was not reviewed by all as perfect, I find it perfect in regards to sturdiness. I did find the cover to be a bit thin for my preference and I have placed another Minky cover over the original which made it just the way I wanted it. It is stable at all adjustable positions and easy to put up/take down. I prefer this board to all options available in our local big box chain stores.

Almost perfect.
It was delivered yesterday and so far I love the iron board itself and the little mat to set the iron on. It is exactly as it was described and a very nice board. It has height adjustment to accommodate my being 5’9” so I don’t have to slump or bend to do my ironing now. The colors are very pretty. The only problem and reason for only 3 stars, a very big problem for the money spent on an ironing board , when I unfolded it and stood up it one the legs are severely uneven so the entire thing is very unstable even with putting a book under the leg to try and make it even I can not even barely bump it or my iron falls off of it. That is the reason I did spend a bit more money on it instead of buying a cheap uneven dollar store board. I love everything else about this product though so that is a huge bummer.

Sturdy quality ironing board
I wanted a sturdier ironing board as most suffer with wobble issues ! So I decided to opt for this as I loved the colour pops of pink against the black which does look nice ! Very easy to use you have a leaver underneath which allows you to open fully or set at your desired height ! Folding is easy just hold the leaver and the ironing board closes fully and stays closed without having to clip it secure The ironing board is not to heavy but is a good solid one compared to cheaper ones and having the pads which grip on the floors stops any movement. The cover is great and ironing on this was brilliant. The cover is padded enough for the iron to glide ! Quality of this item is great well worth purchasing .
