Devotions for a Deeper Life: A Daily Devotional

I have read Oswald Chambers "My Utmost for His Highest" daily for about 21 years. I heard about Devotions for a Deeper Life and thought I would try it. It is a wonderful accompaniment. Now I read one in the morning and one in the evening. Very inspiring!!

There are times when a book appears, in this case a devotional that makes one stop...sometimes with a gasp of the heart..and beckons one to go deeper in thinking...to allow the Holy Spirit to convict, instruct, guide and hopefully renew one's mind and heart. This is one of those books...not for anyone content with mediocrity and living in a frivolous spirituality.

I have his devotional "My Utmost for His Highest", and I love it. I haven't delved into this yet, but if it is anything like that I know I am in for a real treat.

It fills me with God's Presence each morning. This devotional is wonderful -- of course it is by Oswald Chambers

Always timely, always thought-provoking. A true blessing to have MrChambers original ideas shared with the world.

Excellent! Deeper than My Utmost. What a gift Biddy gave through her life of sacrifice and devotion to this man who died so young. The bulk of O.C.'s work would have been lost without his widow's gift to us.
