Q: Is the picture posted by customer the red or burgundy colored pearls? Are the red pearls a bright red?

I ordered the same color because of the picture posted. When I opened the envelope, the beads are indeed burgundy in color not red. The are also very shiny.

Q: Could these be taken apart and restrung?

Yes, you can. However, as you can see, the beads are so close together you may risk damaging them while taking them apart. It's a cute necklace but it's just costume jewelry. It would be wise to just go to the craft store and buy some beads and make what you want.
