Nice product, but didn't function for my purpose
My dog required hardwood floor grip, and they worked well for that. But my dogs hip issues had caused her paws to fold back, this caused instant wear on the upper portion as she dragged her rear paws. They lasted but one week. I understand the intention of these were strictly for grip, and they worked.

My poor dog will have scars for life - 0 stars for "comfort"
If I could give negative stars for "comfort", I would. We used these to help stop my dog from scratching himself to the point of bleeding on his neck (he has bad allergies and dry skin in the winter). We would put them on during the day when we were at work, and remove them when we were home and able to watch him. They were constantly getting turned around so the rubber would be on top, but it was still preventing him being able to scratch his neck with his nails, so it was ok. The front ones would always be off within minutes of putting them on, but since his back legs were the main scratching ones, we didn't worry. After a day or so, he started limping and not putting weight on his back legs. When I checked his back legs, it appears that when the booties were getting turned around on his leg, the inside seam was rubbing his leg completely raw - to the point of bleeding! I immediately stopped using the booties, and had to bandage his back ankles for over 2 weeks while it healed. He'll have scars, but at least I caught it in time to prevent infection. These are not durable or comfortable at all.AVOID PURCHASING!Also, I returned them, but they claim to have never received the returned items, so still no refund. Awesome.

Better than nothing, for dogs with skin sensitivity.
We have a large lab with skin allergies and paws that are sensitive to concrete and heat. We tried 3 different sizes because the largest ones wouldn’t stay on, or would twist/turn around on his paws, causing him to walk on the thinner part of the material instead of the protective side. The medium size fits best but I still have to stop in the middle of our walks and fix them, because they slip and turn upside down. I tried smaller ones, but they were impossible to get on. The medium is difficult to get on, but for a dog with skin issues, Im not sure what else to use, so Im glad I have them when needed.

Please do not leave booties on when you aren’t watching the dog!
The media could not be loaded. I live in Florida. My 32# dog had a sore toe that she was licking. I thought the booties would be great to protect her paws from the hot pavement, rocks & bits of glass (left from hurricane Irma) as well as keep her from licking her paw. I walked her with all 4 booties on. That went fine. Then I left one bootie on her sore paw when we got home. Apparently, she decided she didn’t want to leave that one on. When I got ready for her evening walk, I saw that her bootie was “crooked”, then realized she had chewed the strap off along with the buckle. I only found 2 little pieces of the buckle! Had to decide whether to take her to emergency vet, but it was 10 p.m., so waited, while monitoring her condition. She ate, drank, went potty normally (I checked poop inside the plastic bag). Thank goodness!! ~32 hours after Sophie chewed off the strap & buckle of her new bootie, at 6:15 a.m. this morning, she vomited it up. I rinsed off the pieces and matched up the buckle parts to verify I had it all (it was metal with sharp edges - it was finding the 2 little pieces on the floor Thursday night that first made me realize she’d eaten the buckle, too). I’m so relieved!!!! This review of the booties is to warn people not to leave them on the dog unmonitored.1st pic shows the chewed up strap with the reassembled buckle. The 2nd pic shows what Sophie threw up. 3rd pic down shows the 2 pieces she didn’t swallow, along with one of the undamaged booties. 4th pic shows the pieces laid together to match with an intact bootie buckle. The other pics (& video) show her when we first put on the new booties. I was very worried about ordering the correct size. Difficult to measure my girl’s paws as she has a lot of hair on them. Size M fit perfectly. They work well to walk on hot pavement and rough ground, but are not good for unmonitored use to prevent licking.

Just what I needed - lightweight but durable and perfect for indoor use
The media could not be loaded. As the owner of two 2 year old border collies I have my hands full. These two can be pretty rough in general, and fairly obsessive with the ball machine, etc. I bought these almost a year ago and got the wrong size. Meanwhile I have tried using outdoor "boots" for indoor play, socks, and other things....(the boots were too hot, the socks were to slippery and slipping off....) THEN my boy wore a hole in his foot, (outside) and needed some protection so it could heal....And, it isn't like I could tell the border collie to just chill out. On a whim , as I was preparing to send these off to goodwill or something, the card fell out and I thought...what the heck I may as well try writing to the company and see if they will give me the right size. Well, they did still do the replacement - like I said it was quite a while. So, Lisa sent me the new ones in the right size and they are PERFECT....They don't slip or turn, stay on, etc. They seem quite durable yet they breathe well. The cuffs are snug; both my dogs are used to wearing shoes and they know that in order to get the ball machine they have to wear shoes so they are patient. But, you might find it takes a bit of patience to get them on if your dog isn't used to wearing shoes, and if your dog isn't hyper hyper active like mine you might order a size up so the cuff goes on more easily. I mostly use on his front feet.

Las patas no son iguales....
Los guantes en las patas delanteras quedan bien, pero en las traseras es imposible. Sobretodo siendo tipo guante. Sin embargo me reembolsaron sin ningún problema y estoy agradecido.
