Our fire poker bent near the poker end after the first use. I reached out to the company via email and they immediately resolved the issue by contacting Amazon and having a new fire poker sent to me at no cost. So it was not clear to me from the listing that this fire poker was not one piece in construction. The connection between the pieces was loose and did not seem sturdy enough to take significant abuse while being used to poke a fire and move said logs and pieces in the fire around with it. It's also a lot smaller than what I was expecting to receive. I would not recommend this product namely because the connection just did not feel sturdy and felt loose in use as the fire poker was handled. I would look elsewhere for another fire poker besides this one the size and connection between the pieces just leaves one wondering when the thing is going to come apart if and when you use it.

I've been using this for 2 camping seasons and so far it's worked great. My only gripe would be in came in a flimsy cardboard box so when transporting it from car to campsite it tends to get carbon on other things despite my best efforts to clean it. Going to try and find a bag to carry it around in.

This poker is nice as it has a heavy and strong end on it and I also like that it is adjustable in length for a small fire or large one. Good value on this one I recommend.
