Great shelving for our cellar!
These shelves were great. They were bought to organise the stuff in my cellar. The box came with everything required including a pair of gloves to protect hands when assembling as the parts can be sharp.Shelving is stable, sturdy and holds a good amount of stuff.Great value and look great. I found them easy to put together on my own.

£20... Yeah, £20 for some racking!
Okay... so you think to yourself you can't get a decent five tier racking kit for £20 delivered can you? Well, you're not wrong.. it was actually £22.I am currently converting my garage in to something less like a mess and more like a storage area and needed racking along the wall. I'd looked at B&Q, Homebase and Wickes and to do the whole wall I'd be looking at multiple hundreds of pounds. Saw this on Amazon and thought okay let's give it a go. I only ordered one as I'd need about 4 to do the full wall but didn't want to shell out £90 for it to be rubbish and if I'm honest I didn't have high hopes.Delivered next day (thanks Prime!) in a compact and lightweight box. Box measured basically the size of one shelf as everything was very meticulously put in to save as much space as possible - which has got to be good for the environment.Inside the box you've all the metal poles, fixings, boards for the shelves and also instructions. But best of all you get some actually quite nicely made gloves. Advice... WEAR THESE when you construct this unit. The metal feels flimsy and it is and it's so incredibly sharp which is why the gloves come in handy. I didn't actually find the instructions until right at the end as they were held between two of the shelves but managed to put it all together without them. It's very straightforward. You'll just need a mallet and I'd say having two people makes it easier but you can do it on your own.Couple of points when constructing it:* Do one half at a time - it'll make it easier to hold everything together.* Again - WEAR THE GLOVES - otherwise you'll cut your hands to pieces.* Sometimes you'll need to bend the tabs slightly so they fit through the hooks correctly, it's easy to do as the metal isn't thick.* Don't forget to put in the middle braces - these add a lot of stability to the shelf.I found once I'd built up a two layers that the shelves actually felt more sturdy but I don't think I'd ever recommend using these as free standing - I've drilled these to the garage wall with a raw plug and a metal drill bit and they are rock solid. I don't think I'd use them free standing as I'd be worried that a knock in any way would topple them over. After putting up the first set and loading it up with tin cans (my garage now feels like a preppers paradise) I waited a week to make sure it didn't all fall and then ordered some more to complete. All put up it looks actually really professional and screwed in to the wall they feel secure and sturdy. In the right circumstances these are an absolute bargain and not at all as rubbish as I first imagined. Definitely worth it for the shed or garage. Wouldn't recommend for the house or where there's little people fingers due to the sharpness of the metal, though.

Good for storage
Feels flimsy at first, but it is firm. Smells like chicken somehow. Still, I recommend.

Shelves not treated properly
The units are easy to assemble & work well BUT the shelves have developed mould. The garage is dry & other shelves from a different supplier have not developed mould.Definitely an issue with these shelves

So far so great
Great price, sturdy, clip together shelving for my balcony. I can store so so much! After reading reviews, I sealed the shelving boards before using and bought (from Amazon) a perfectly fitted plastic case - two from zips for access - as protection from damp/mold in wetter months. Fingers crossed it holds up.Right now, however, very happy indeed for the price!

Good product once built but a real pain to assemble
Instructions were confusing took me ages to assemble and suffered a few scratches and saw fingers. I am not a diy expert but have assembled plenty of flat pack furniture and other shelves this was by far the worst to assemble even though there are no tools.

Good value
It didn’t feel sturdy at first but when it’s built it is. Comes with a pair of gloves to protect your hands and the instructions do tell you that you need a rubber mallet to hit the sides in place. Would recommend two people to put it together however I did manage on my own. Would definitely say that it’s a bargain for what you are getting. Would get them again.

Good value
Easy enough to put together once you work out the spacing of the shelves. Seems fairly light, but is sturdy enough for holding pots of paint and tools in the shed. All in all good value.
