Me and my girlfriend were served with these mugs on our date at a restaurant and immediately fell in love. I called the waiter and asked where they purchased them from and he said Amazon. I ordered two before I pay the restaurant check. They arrived very securely packaged. The quality on painting, the glass smooth top coat over the painting design and the wooden handles all indicate high level workmanship. They feel very nice to hold. Btw these are not one of those cheap TjMaxx or Marshall's mugs. These are much higher quality built and seem to be lasting for very long time. I recommend not to put them in a dishwasher since they have wooden handles which are vulnerable to high heat and also wood handles usually secured with glue. That's the only small detail to pay attention to. I totally recommend them and would buy more either for myself or as a gift.

Love, love, love this mug. It must be the material it's made out of, because it keeps my tea amazingly hot for a long time compared to other mugs. It's not just the lid keeping things hot, because I have several other mugs with lids and they cool off much more quickly than this one. It's solid, beautifully shaped and well-made. I think the only downside is having to hand wash it because of the wooden handle, but that's ok by me. Worth it!

I needed a big mug for morning coffee so i dont have to go back for a second cup. It feels good in the hand with a large handle to grip. Plus, it looks great in the chrome green color i chose. It holds the heat better than regular ceramic cups. Maybe its the shiny finish, i don't know..plus, the price is right. Ill be buying a few more to put in the cupboard for guests.

My sis sent me a couple of these and I like them so much I got one for my Christmas gift exchange. I like the wooden handle, it's very easy to hold and also the shape . It has a very sturdy bottom. I love the colors too. I wasn't sure if it was dishwasher safe because of the wood handle but it faired well. I gave 4 stars because I see that some others have a lid to keep liquids hot longer, I wish these had the lids.

This was my third (except for the colour) identical mug that I have purchased from this company. I love the style, functionality and size of these mugs. This last one that I ordered, however, had issues. Mainly the handle was cut longer than on the previous two. Additionally, the handle was mounted at a "funky angle" and was obviously "crooked". Thank goodness, this purchase fell under Amazons Return or Replace policy, so I (just today) sent it back and requested a replacement. I love that I can simply take the cup (in its original "gift box") to Whole Foods, where they will package it for shipping... then ship it free of charge. I do love these cups, especially with the wooden cap to keep the coffee hot... but with one of the three that I have ordering being faulty, that's not a good average. They are beautifully designed cups (the poor workmanship on this one, notwithstanding). I frequently take mine to the coffee shop, where I often get complements on it. I refuse to be a typical American who accepts the non-recyclable paper cups dolled out at coffee shops in most US cities. As actor Richard Harris put it in "A Man Called Horse"... "I am not an animal! I drink my coffee from a REAL CUP!

Love these cups. Got myself the cream one and loved it. Husband liked it too and thought would be great to take out to work shops so got him the blue. Cover it's great for keeping hot but also keeping sawdust etc out and is sturdy & hard to knock over with the heavy bottom!
