Durable bands—no tears or fading. Slight stretch over time; lettering wears off fast.
Good quality bands. I’ve been using them for about half a year, and I added the black one a few months ago. They’ve held up really well—no tearing, and the color hasn’t changed. The printed lettering did rub off pretty quickly, though. After six months the bands have stretched a little, but not much, and it doesn’t affect performance or workouts at all. Overall, durable and reliable for assisted pull-ups, resistance, and stretching.

Perfect for Booty Busting exercises like Hip Thrusts and Deadlifts
I've only had this product for a few days, so this review is based on my use during this time. I came across this product on Amazon after I did a search for Sorinex, as those were the bands recommended by Bret Contreras—the "Glute Guy" and foremost expert on glute training. I had never heard of Serious Steel Fitness, but the reviews were great and the product seemed like it was quality made, which is extremely important because I could only begin to think of the types of injuries caused by an inferior resistance band. Upon removing it from the plastic packaging, I felt I had made the right decision in my purchase. The band is thick and solid and the seam appears glued together very well. I am a big fan and follower of Bret Contreras. He provides solid, scientifically tested exercises for building your glutes. One of his signature moves is the Hip Thrust, either with bodyweight, barbells or bands. As I progressed passed bodyweight hip thrusts I started to use barbells, but I was having a difficult time engaging my glutes using this method. So I decided to experiment with bands, and I was really surprised at much harder my glutes were working doing it this way. At the same time, I also started having issues with deadlifts. I realized that I was not using the correct form and actually ended up getting some bulging discs. I did some research online and saw that resistance bands were a good alternative for barbell deadlifts (of course I'm limited in how much load I can get using a band, but for me at my level of fitness right now, this is a good solution.) I don't have a gym membership and have only a few pieces of equipment in my home office. For my hip thrusts and deadlifts I take the Green #4 Serious Steel Fitness band and anchor either end onto a weighted barbell (photo attached). Also in the photo is how I use the band for hip thrusts—that is, I put my shoulders on the bench, get my body between the band and the barbell, place my feet flat on the floor and keep my legs perpendicular to the ground. **I need to say that this may not be the safest method, as my butt is directly over the bar (there shouldn't be anything under your butt/back)**, but I am still able to bring my butt down low enough in order to get a good thrust at top, and have not hurt my back or butt yet. For more info on how to do a proper hip thrust I would Google 'Bret Contreras band hip thrust'. For deadlifts, I simply take the proper stance and grab onto the band pulling upward for resistance while squeezing my glutes. What's great about bands is that you can combine them for varying amounts of weighted resistance. I have lighter bands from another manufacturer, but this Green #4 SSF band offers a great level of resistance, and combined with my lighter bands allows me to go much heavier. Once I feel that I've progressed even further, I will definitely come back and purchase their black #5 band.

Great Customer service
Serious Steel, Quality, Affordable, Great Customer service. These band are the best on the market. They are durable and well made. I use them for many aspect of my workouts, including to increase my one rep max. I follow a 5x5 method and incorporate the banded bench, shoulder press, squat, dead-lift, RDL, and several core exercises. I would recommend that every one have a couple of these in their gym bag. Here is an example of their use in my routine and their versatility. Banded bench press 5x5: 1 41"red band on per side, looped on each side under the bottom brace on a Star Trac Inspiration Strength™ - Bench Press. Pic below (pic is from incline, but similar set up) : warm-up 1x15 @ bar + bands for warm-up. First couple times its really working the stabilizing muscles, shakiness *band face pulls from a pull-up bar (loop a blue band) 2x15 : 1x5 @ bar + red bands + 25lbs each side : 2x5 @ bar + red bands + 45lbs each side *band pull-apart (blue band) hands out front 1x15 : 3x5 @ bar + red bands + 45 + 10lbs each side : 4x5 @ bar + red bands + 45 + 15lbs each side *band pull apart (blue band) hands above/behind head 1x15 : 5x5 @ bar + red bands + 45+ 25lbs each side * in need a spot on this set, and have a difficult time on the last 3 sets. ** important to note that spotting with this setup is different than non banded bench. The point of failure will occur much faster than normal bench. The increasing resistance will cause the weight to slingshot down. Spotters should have hands on the bar once the lifter begins to struggle with the weight. * In between each set i do standing side crunches with the blue band. I stand on the band and reach toward the band and get enough tension and lean my torso in the opposite direction. So if right hand grabs band, i extend to the left side. I find that it is significantly more efficient than doing the standing side crunches with the plates. That's an example of a portion of my banded chest day. Each set i rest between 2-5min. In between sets i like being able to easily warm up my shoulder joint in multiple planes of motion before the next set. I recommend these bands for anyone looking to break a Plateau on any lift.

Best brand of resistance bands
Best bands I’ve ever used. I train many calisthenics skills and the band holds up after hours and hours of constant use. If you need a reliable resistance band for any type of exercise, this is the best option. Only downside was that it came a little dusty but you can just clean it after opening.

Great Bands, with a Lousy Coating - How to Get it off properly.
The bands themselves are wonderful and should be very long lived - but I wish I'd seen the review about skin and eye irritation. About an hour after touching the things, and after washing my hands, I happened to rub my eyes and within a short time the irritation began - about on a par with cutting hot peppers and then rubbing eyes. The coating isn't immediately obvious, it comes off in use, and gets everywhere as well. Messy and irritating... I'm not the only family member who has experienced this, neither of us has any reaction to latex apart from the coating on these bands. Also - I've other latex bands, and never had problems with them... Your mileage may vary - but don't say I didn't warn you. If you do happen to be latex sensitive, this could be a major problem. Edit: I worked out the cleaning procedure below - takes 5 minutes and it solves the problem. Raised review to 4 stars - I'd make it 5 if they included a warning and the cleaning procedure with the bands. After a lot of research, trial and error - here's what to do about the coating on the bands: Use only plain cool water for this - not any soap or detergent, these can damage the bands. It takes a combination of water and physical contact - what follows won't work without vigorous rubbing. Soak new bands for a few minutes in a bucket of cool water. Use gloves, especially if latex DOES bother you... Take a clean wash cloth, dip it in water. Lay bands on a flat surface. Wipe the bands vigorously around entire circumference, both sides, rinsing the cloth frequently. (Simply swishing the bands isn't enough - got to get physical about, several strokes and light stretching.) Rinse the bands and the cloth, repeat the wipe once more, rinse bands once more. A milky residue will result, keep going until it's all removed and rinse is clean - it may take 2-3 passes. Wring out cloth, then use it to lightly wipe excess moisture from bands. Allow to air dry. If you have more than one band to clean, make sure to wipe out the bucket, rinse the cloth, and start fresh. After this, if any band leaves a residue on hands when handled - it wasn't enough cleaning. Wash hands, and the band, once more - get a little more physical with it. That said - cleaning is a small price for a band that will probably last years of daily use given a little care and kept out of the sun.

Good bands. Happy they're back in stock!
I have used these bands since 2015 and have had great luck with them. I like these bands much more than bands that have either an anchor point on the wall, or a handle to hold onto. The anchor and handle are weak points, and I've seen too many photos of people who got injured when their anchor detached, or a handle broke. With this type of band, just loop it around something solid, and you're good to go. Very little risk. For the most part these bands last, too. I've had to replace a couple of the smaller, purple bands. Not because of any fault in construction, maybe I just used them more. The red, blue, and orange (mini) bands have held up really great, though -- and I've used them a LOT. Try these out if you're looking to add bands into your workouts. They're a good price and they're well built.

Versatile and Work Great.
These are big, heavy duty rubber bands. I purchased these to help me with pull-ups and chin-ups. I am very weak in the upper body, so I need a lot of assistance right now. I purchased the green band (I weigh 131-ish and the green will give you up 50 to 120 lbs of assistance). Okay, that's embarrassing, but as I get stronger, I plan to step down to the blue, red, eventually none. You put your foot in the loop for the most assistance and then your knee for less assistance. Their instruction guide also comes with other exercises and uses for the bands so these are very versatile, which is why I chose them over the expensive bands that are sold solely for pull-up assistance. Those also don't give as much assistance (the ones I looked at were 100 lbs of assistance and 50 lbs of assistance). When you place your order Serious Steel immediately emails you some .pdf guide books on training and pull-up usage. It is very easy to loop over your pull-up bar and pull one end of the loop through the other and tighten. You put one foot in the loop (I need a small step stool for this) and the band goes to the floor (with me) so I kick the stool out of the way so I get the full range of motion. I hold the free leg secure against the leg in the band and move through the movements slow so as not to swing. I think I can probably move down to the next band very soon. Overall very pleased!

Green band is perfect for 205# man
I'm 6'1" and 205 pounds, and the green band is just perfect for me. If I step in with the band under my foot, I get maximum support. I put my knee in for less support. (The further the band is stretched, the more force it adds.) I've been doing negative pull ups and was at the point where I could lower myself down fairly slowly (five seconds) for several reps. The green band is just enough to get me over the hump, and I can do two or three full range pullups with the band under my foot on the first try. It's still a lot of work with the band, but enough support to let me use better form and still get some range of motion while I build up muscle. The band smells horrible! It's that terrible latex smell that gets all over your hands. I hope it gets better over time. It's not a huge deal but man is it smelly. Very strong, sturdy band. I was uncomfortable putting all my weight onto a rubber band stretched to almost double its length. But it feels solid once I'm in it. I've been using it for just a couple days now, so no comments yet on longevity.

Disappointed
The resistance band (purple) looks much bigger in the picture but actually is smaller. I have started using it and it seems ok as of now in terms of resistance it provides. The biggest let down is the rubber smell that comes from the band. I have another heavy duty resistance band from another vendor with me and it is much more better, doesn't smell and looks far superior than this one. I purchased this as I got this as recommendation from one of the popular Fitness YouTube channel. I feel disappointed though as I paid almost 2000 rupees for this and got a sub-standard product.

Quality item.
You get what you pay for. Sick of cheap bands snapping so ordered these to try them. Straight away you can tell these are a quality item. Already using them and you can tell the difference. Obviously time will be the real test but I have a feeling these will last. If they do then I will more than likely be ordering the heavier bands from them. Really helped that the postage was free with Amazon on these and they arrived much quicker than I expected.

Top quality workout band
I continue to add to my collection of Serious Steel bands. They are of top quality. I am now on the way to completing a second complete set. Better resistance than other name brands. However if you require bands for recovery the bands will not work for you. The band here is there unit with the least resistance. This particular band will work for 90% of users. I have owned the bbrand name for 1.5 years and no snaps are wearing out. I do use snap hooks with the bands as they are polished steel and rounded. I will never use the fabric door anchors as these cause too much friction and will wear out the band. If you must use the fabric door anchor place a carabiner snap hook on it than mount the band oin the snap hook.

Excellent quality item
Performs very well for hand exercises. No hand issues as I never use gloves. Exactly what a customer expects from a top resistance band company. I got what I paid for. The stretch for range of motion is perfect. I only used the bands with anchor points that are polished steel snap hooks and carabiners. I never use the fabric door anchors that cause excess friction to the bands.
