Very convenient.
First thing - I bought an XS based on the size guide but it was much too tight. Size S was a good fit. I am a UK 8, petite, with a 34D/E bust size. Before using this I was using a Beluga Baby wrap handed down from my sister. Loved the material but the Baby K’tan is hands down better.More secure (because it’s pre-sewn I never worried abt it accidentally undoing itself as baby became heavier) and I can put it on in a jiffy and while seated unlike the traditional cloth wraps.I rarely used the extra sash to wrap around the main sling - never felt the need for it.Used it till my baby became too heavy then handed it down to my while I moved on to a Lillebaby. I’ve recommended the K’tan to my SIL and she is loving it too.One of the downsides tho is when baby starts on the munching phase - he kept chewing on sides and these are the parts of the cloth that I would cover him with when he falls asleep. So essentially he would be covered in his saliva and if you’re in a cold climate then it’ll probably make him feel cold. I used an Ergo carrier teething pads and slipped them onto those sides as a solution. I suppose one could use your standard wash cloths and / or bibs too.

Love it, Love it, Love it!!!
I absolutely love this!!!I already have a Moby wrap (a long piece of stretchy fabric you wrap to create a sling) which I really don't get on with despite having been to the sling library twice to make sure I'm using it correctly. I find with using a stretchy wrap its trial and error getting the fit right each time (really stressful when you have an unsettled baby), hurts my back and baby just feels too tight and close to my face. Where as the Baby K'Tan is so easy!! The instructions are totally idiot proof, which was useful for me with baby brain! You order the size to specifically fit you (I'm a size 10 and have a small) and with the loop system you get the same fit every single time. Baby slips in so easily and is snug but not tight. The carrier also allows you enough stretch to correct your posture so a lot easier on the back. My baby sleeps so solidly in it, allowing me to get on with things around the house without missing that bonding time.Without question I will be recommending this to all my Mummy friends!!!

Don't get the big rave about this
I know this is meant to be a great product from lots of reviews I read and heard, but I was unfortunately quite disappointed. The cotton isn't that soft. I'm quite a petite person and the size small seems so constricting. I might get some use out of it whilst my baby is newborn but I can't see her fitting in it for long at all. Very expensive for what it is. Wish I'd gone and tried some on in store before purchasing. To boot the label actually pinged off when I tried it on so now I can't even return it!!

Perfect!
This is exactly what I was hoping for - the comfort and snugness of a sling/ wrap but with the ease of shoving on a baby carrier. Whose sleep deprived brain can cope with a complicated wrap - mine can't - and I've tried! I can put this on in 30 secs and it soothes my baby who has colic and reflux almost instantly. It also means I can put my 4 year old to bed while he sleeps in this so cosy and snug, and my hands are free. Feels very secure. Definitely buy this product!

I love it, baby loves it
I think it's well know that a sling is a very comfortable place for a baby. The position feel natural for them and they are as close as they can be to you. This sling has been a life saver for me. Been using it from when he was 2 weeks old and still use it 3 months later. My little one did not want to sleep in his bed during the day and also had trouble faling asleep. When I put him in the sling he falls asleep in no time and I have my hands free to do some work. Or even just relax and sit in the sofa watching a movie while he sleeps in it. When they get a bit heavier I wouldn't recommend it for long walks (even though I sometimes still do it) because it is heavy on shoulders and back. For long walks (after 3 months) I use a BabyBjorn. But when I want to help him fall asleep I still use this one. The difference with other slings is that this one is super easy to put on. The fact that it has a fixed size does have the disadvantage that it can not be adapted when they grow or when someone else wants to use it. But besides that it is one of the best things I bought for him. He is asleep in it while I am writing this review.
