Steampunk Victorian Goggles Rave Glasses, Sleek and Stylish Industrial

These are very nice goggles for the price. I had to modify the bridge piece that connects the two eyepieces in order to fit, but it was very easy to do. You could purchase all the pieces included with these separately, but I think you would end up spending about the same amount. If you do want to modify these, they come apart easily. The lenses have a double piece of glass, so if you decide you want tinted lenses, you can easily cut a piece of colored cellophane to put in the middle. I like this option much better than buying goggles with permanently tinted lenses.My only complaint is that they tend to fog up for me. I may be able to solve this problem by making some more adjustments. If you don't plan to wear them over your eyes, that shouldn't be a problem for you.

Fit was great, only reason i'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the pics showed it with a gold color for the monocles pieces and clamp, but the actual product is semi-glossy black plastic (for the actual goggles) and all metal pieces (the clamp and monocles) are silver. the only thing that looks antique is the wheel they have glued to the side of the glasses. The strap is also a black elastic strap with blue stripes in it.I replaced the strap with a leather-looking strap and antiqued the entire set of goggles (all silver trim and the black shiny plastic parts) using Rub N Buff, so now they are great. Just be aware that they are not at all antiqued or aged as they appear in some of the pics. They look "brand-new" when you get them.

When you look at the picture here, these goggles look like they have a purple tone which is why I ordered them. But it didnt look like others I saw here, so I contacted the seller after the order was placed. I asked them if the goggles had a purple tone or if it was the angle of the picture and the light in the back that made it look like that. They replied saying that the goggles had a double film that could be removed in order for the person to have purple or clear goggles. So I said send them. When I got them, it was not what I expected. The supposed puepler film was nothing more than a piece of purple laminated portfolio folder, badly cut. This looks sloppy and on top of that they are extremely blurry with this piece of paper on them. If you want to buy Steampunk Goggles, dont buy these.

These are a great find! And they came very fast, two days sooner than the earliest estimated time! Some people described them as being made of "metal" They are not entirely made of metal, but metal and think plastic, but frankly when you feel how heavy they are you will be happy. They have a nice weight to them, they don't feel or look like junk at all when you have them, definitely worth the price. I wore them on my head all night for a Halloween party and the weight only bothered me a little near the end. The tiny magnify glasses clip on and off easily depending on the look you want.

My grandson used these goggles as part of a cosplay outfit and wore it along with a SteamPunk Top Hat also purchased here on Amazon. I thought the price was quite good and they were delivered very promptly. These goggles come in different finishes and lens colors and I appreciated having options!

I needed some goggles that fit the Steampunk look in a hurry for a costume for MisCon (of course I waited until the last possible second to complete my costume, no fun doing it ahead of time ;) ). These fit the bill quite well! They're not really meant for wearing as actual goggles, just for looks and they do a quite good job at that. Body of the goggles and primary lenses are plastic, the smaller focal lenses I believe are also plastic (uncertain). The only metal components are the pipe clamp around the right lense, the small clamp attached to that (to which the post for the focal lenses is attached), frames for the focal lenses, and lastly; the small metal ball chain that links the two primary lenses together (this is covered by a piece of what appears to be wire sheathing for aesthetic purposes. The strap is adjustable and can be adjusted to fit quite well if you choose to wear them on your face like real goggles, however, they are not very comfortable this way so I would not recommend doing so. They can be adjusted to fit almost any size head or hat snugly and stay in place quite well for most hats (I used them with a pith helmet so I did have to pin the straps in a couple spots to keep them from sliding up the slightly sloped surface but that is a rather unusual piece of headgear to use them with).Not something you want to wear for safety, dust, or other purposes; if you want real goggles you'll need to pay for real goggles. But, if you want something to complete a Steampunk or Dieselpunk costume without breaking the budget, these will fit the bill nicely! See attached photo for my usage of them.

These are absoloutly amazing!! They actually feel like real metal, they might be. If they are, sorry im stupid, ahaha. But they are adjustable, but adjusting the nosepiece is pretty difficult, so I would just recommend tightening the straps. And dont freak out about the magnifying lenses. They come unattached, but you can clip them on, and they hold very well. And in order to see through the magnifying lenses, you need to hold an object up close until its no longer blurry. Just a heads up. but overall: amazing. 1,000,000/10 would recommend.

These are pretty simply made, but they are well done and look great. I bought pink UV reactive ones, however, the UV part is a little...eh. It really only shows up in an actual rave environment with darkness and a lot of black lights. That's possibly just an effect of the pink color maybe? They still look great though.
