Improves SQ; but too heavy to be comfortable
Got this as an upgrade cable for a couple of KZ IEMs that I use (viz. ZS10 Pro & ZAS) and needless to say, there was a discernible improvement in SQ compared to the stock cables that came with both the aforementioned KZs. Bass tightened up, and the treble harshness reduced considerably. Can't be sure if it was just a placebo effect, but I thought detail-retrieval improved too. It's a well-built, well-braided cable with the same quality of connectors that you find on Tripowin or TRN cables, but what makes this a literal "pain in the neck" is the sheer weight of the cable. At 44 grams, it is just too heavy a cable to be used comfortably for longer periods of time or when on the move. IMHO, the ideal weight for a good-quality cable should be between 25-30 grams, and 44 grams is pushing things into the realm of uncomfortable.Only the likes of Vinod Kambli or the late Bappi Lahiri will find the weight of this cable comfortable around their necks!
