Tomato sauce tabouleh
Just overall didnโt like the flavor - it happens. I didnโt like the tomato mixed with the natural mint. I love most other variations of the flavors kitchen and love offers - addicted to the artichoke, garlic and lemon ones :)

Not good
I usually like quinoa and coucous and this sounded like a good option. I was disappointed. The mix is brown color and unappetizing and does not taste good. I will not buy this again.

Not a traditional tabbouleh. Slightly Mintier. Sweeter than traditional. Not so lemony.
The only reason this is a 4 and not a 5 is because it isn't so much a traditional tabbouleh. Flavor wise, this is an extremely tasty dish. It is hard to believe this is an open and eat right out of the bag it is so tasty. There are 6 packs in a box.I have had the opportunity so far to taste one of their other instant foods. Both have been very tasty. Both taste as close to homemade as they possibly can. My only thing with this one was that I was expecting something a little closer to a traditional tabbouleh.Tabbouleh is one of those foods I love. I love the lemony flavor, the parsley, tomato, cucumber, mint, and bulgur. I often use quinoa when I make it at home. There are many variations of tabbouleh, but I find having those ingredients make a good tabbouleh. This Tabbouleh and quinoa medley is very tasty. It is not realistic that I am going to find cucumber and tomato in this bag as a fresh tabbouleh. The ingredients are bulgur wheat, tomato, red quinoa, red bell peppers, olive oil, raisins, mint, lemon juice, salt and guar gum, and natural flavor.Appearance- it is more red in appearance that I expected. I can see the quinoa and bulgur very well. It is speckled with other ingredients and spices.Flavor- the flavor is very tasty. It is on the minty side. It is not lemony. It is sweeter than I expected it to be.Convenience wise- this can go anywhere with me. Simply, gently squeeze to break up the medley. Open the bag and eat. It can't get any easier. There is a good portion in it. Enough that it satisfies me for a meal or I can eat a partial bag as a snack which has been my preference.Portion size is one bag. 227 grams/8ounces. 360 calories, 10 grams of protein, 10 grams of fat, 53 carbs. This is filling. Eating a partial portion (about 1/3 of a bag) I find it satisfying to taste. As a snack I am satisfied with the flavor and holds me to the next meal.I would definitely keep this on hand to eat when time is limited or to eat as a lunch. Effortless and tasty lunch food.

Shelf stable but far too minty than tabbouleh I'm accustomed to
The convenience of this product mixed with how it's stable to store on a shelf while sealed are pretty fantastic and I do appreciate that. However I struggled to get behind the flavor given how minty I felt this tasted for a Tabbouleh.I know and accept that there is some mint in Tabbouleh but I found that mint to be far too strong or perhaps it wasn't balanced enough with some lemony-citrus flavor to take the edge of the mint. I gave a pouch to my mother to try with that warning. She said she used it to spruce up a salad for lunch and added in extra tomato and perhaps there was something else she added. She said that it was pretty enjoyable and not as minty that way as what I experienced.Unfortunately when I went to eat my first pack, I didn't have a way to spruce it up other than hotsauce which didn't help much. It's worth a shot if you like Tabbouleh and don't mind mint or want to mix it into a larger dish. But I personally will stick to other products by this company which are good and convenient and more preferred for my pallet.

This is an excellent side dish for anyone trying to avoid carbs. As another reviewer said, rinse it for best results!5 star flavor!

Too much mint
This is a very dry mix of quinoa and tabbouleh. There were no raisens in my pouches, which is a shame as it could have used the sweetness from them. It tastes like mint and quinoa...and that's pretty much the only flavor, the mint overpowers everything else. It's very easy to cook, and the flavor is inoffensive, but it's not something I'd seek out. It's okay as a side or as a lunch, but there's not enough for a dinner on its own. The pouches I received in August 2021 expire in November 2022.

This is very easy to prepare, you donโt even need to cook it. However, I am not a fan of the way it tastes. The lemon slaps me in the face and is not well balanced with the other flavors. I get used to it while eating, and then start to notice the other flavors.I thought it may taste better as a stuffing rather than a side, and I did prefer it that way (pictured in stuffed peppers). This masked some of the flavoring.I usually get about 3 servings per bag.

Is It Ready to Heat Or Ready to Eat?
I love quinoa and was excited to try this variety. The ingredients are all pretty good and this quinoa packs quite a bit of flavor. It definitely has a great taste, very similar to homemade. This tabbouleh version uses red quinoa and the final product actually has a red hue as can be seen in the picture. The most pronounced flavor that stands out is mint. I took the picture as is, but added some fresh tomatoes and parsley to the final product as in traditional tabbouleh recipes. I was surprised that this product only used mint as the herbs for the tabbouleh recipe. This is very filling if served for one person. Definitely makes a hearty lunch or dinner on the go that is instantly ready to enjoy. My only critical remark about this product, other than the lack of parsley, would be the confusing directions. The box clearly states "ready to heat in 90 seconds," but the package itself states "ready to eat" and "no heating necessary," which is confusing. This is also demonstrated in the picture. Which one is it, ready to eat or ready to heat? Regardless, when I opened the package and transferred the contents onto a plate, quinoa was clumped in places and I ended up heating it anyway instead of eating at room temperature. I think this helps the oils get redistributed and the food tastes better when warm.
