4 Month Update:It's very hard for me to write this review because there are two versions of the pen - the one I received and the one after I had done some tuning.To start let me preface by saying if you want a smooth nib as opposed to a scratchy one please buy a medium. The fine nib writes exceptionally sharp and crisp and definitely has its use but the feedback can slow your speed in writing, the medium won't have the scratchiness but at the cost of some sharpness.I bought the fine version but I managed to smooth the nib by grinding, now you can use 4000 and 8000 grit to properly do it, but I didn't have any micro mesh neither whetstone, I grinded the nib by using ink on marble floor and.... It worked, the lamy nib took the beating and survived. Now it's very smooth :D also I used a blade to clean the tines and spaces them out a little further by bending backwards because ink flow was so tight that the ink wasn't showing any saturation, now it's perfect.I had ink flow problems, realised that the notch for the convertor was a little bit high for proper capillary action with the ink I was using, turned it 90* pushed it through, and the problem was gone, no more nib drying up.So after 4 months and some tuning, the pen works like I imagined the pen would be, and works great.

I got one from the official website and 1 from Amazon. Both are identical, so authenticity wise no issue. Personally like medium nib more but wanted to add 1 fine nib to the arsenal, and it’s great. The fine isn’t that fine compared to Japanese nibs so I enjoy it a lot

The pen nib is not as smooth as was expected neither it match with the name associated. Still would return with depreciated value if possible.
