Q: I currently control my blinds (3rd party supplier) with a somfy remote - can this product work to control the blinds instead and make them ‘smart’?

Hi, If you're sure the remote you use is Somfy then there is every reason to assume the blinds will work. The Somfy proprietary frequeincy for the companies numerus product range mostly works, if not entirely works across the platform. The TaHome switch is a fantastic product.

Q: Does this work with all Somfy roller blinds and curtains?

I've got Somfy blinds installed and the TaHoma app shows you can control Blinds, curtains & motorised windows plus all other RTS equipment.

Q: Does this product need a separate hub?

Hello, this product is a hub itself. It connects to your wi-fi and allows you to operate your Somfy/Velux devices via App or voice if paired with your smart speaker. It will also allow you various scenes settings and scheduling as well. Hope it helps :)
