I went through this step-by-step and it has some very sound advise. But don't think you can do this overnight. You have to do a bit of work gathering your information, for example, how much you owe on everything, what the interest rate is, etc. But if you work at it diligently everything starts to come together. I have made a lot of progress on my finances by following this book.

The book does a nice job of collecting the Bible quotes relevant to financial issues. I was a little disappointed that the book fails to capture Burkett's opinions that he promoted on the radio during the final years of his life.

Very insightful book about God's word and money. I have learn a lot about the reason I look at money to do that and why I spend it like that. If you want to get on track with God and what his plans for your money are. Get this book!

Larry Burkett provides a true biblical foundation for managing personal finances. This is more than a how-to manual but guides the reader to a spiritual interspection of his/her attitude toward money. This is the foundation that is missing from all other guides I have examined. The text is easy to read and provides real-life examples of God's principles in everyday situations.

I would recommend this book to any body trying to get out of debt and do what is right using the money wisdom of the Bible.
