Spidey and His Amazing Friends Meet Team Spidey

My 2 and half year old grandson absolutely loves this book and takes it everywhere and it’s the same characters as on the kiddies tv series 😊

It’s a very cute book and my three-year-old son really likes it. The only issue that I have is that Miles Morales is not given his superhero name in the book (Spin). If your child’s favorite character is Spin, that might be a deal breaker for them. Otherwise it’s a cute and short story perfect for bedtime.

As the other review mentioned, the book has Spin named as Miles on every page. My 3yo knows the character names, so when reading I sub in Spin accordingly. Shame on this publisher/Disney/Marvel for missing this obvious mistake on every page. I wouldn't have bought it had I known this.

I rated 3 stars because they refer to Peter as Spidey, Gwen as Ghost Spider, and everyone else by their super hero/villian name except Spin. Their is no mention of "Spin" in the entire book. Instead they refer to him and only him by his real name, Miles. This book is meant to introduce the characters from the show. Spin is one of my son's favorites. I have to change the name to "Spin" when we read it so he doesn't get confused. This naming inconsistency bothers me. It could have been a typo. Or maybe they are trying to down play the black spiderman. Either way, sloppy work by the publishing company.
