Have tried various tooth brushing techniques with our 23lb terrier & this is the best yet in terms of comfort & reach. Small enough to access her back teeth. Rinses easily. Came with 2 brushes & a pick. Each brush has its own vented, clear plastic case. I use Bodhi Dog Dental Gel Toothpaste, squirting it on the brush as I rotate it. It's not the perfect solution to the dog teeth brushing quandary, but it's better than just my finger.

If your cat has a very tiny mouth good luck getting this in the back teeth. It's so thick

I bought these brushes and the VirBac Enyzmatic toothpaste for my cat a couple months ago. They're awesome! First, I spread the paste on the brush and let my cat kind of smell and taste it, then let him chomp on it for a minute. Then, while he's chomping, I swirl the brush in between his front, side and back teeth, then let him continue licking the remaining paste. This is the first time, ever!, that a cat I've owned, has actually like/tolerated having his teeth brushed! I think a lot of it is attributed to the fact that this brush has soft, not hard spiky bristles. And apparently the chicken flavored paste is pretty tasty, lol. It's very easy to clean. Just use a pinch of Dawn liquid mixed with water, rinse well and you're done! I'm buying a few more today, to have on hand, in case this style is every discontiued. Great product.

My cats still are not willing to get their teeth brushed and while this didn't solve that problem, it's a decent brush. It feels durable. Seems like there should be a few in the pack.
