Peppa Pig: Peppa Loves St. Patrick's Day

I bought 2 of this book one for home and one for my son's classroom last year everyone loves it

My nephew loved this book. He loves learning about Ireland. Leprechaun are his favorite right now.

In this story, Peppa and family take a ferry to Ireland for St Patrick’s Day where they buy souvenir instruments, admire how green the grass is, and show up in some empty field for a “festival” of music and dancing. Then everybody jumps in muddy puddles. There is no explanation of why the holiday is celebrated, and their festival version of celebrating seems pretty bland and lacking in Irish culture. I guess it shouldn’t be surprising that a British character would gloss over Irish culture.

I can barely read this one to my son because it is so ludicrous. I do get a huge laugh out of it, but this is easily the worst peppa book ever lol
