Very nice, extremly detailed
This is a very nice scale model and extremely detailed too. I do not recommend it for beginners or inpatient enthusiasts. The delivery, from Japan, was excellent.

good news its that it comes with decals and waterslides ...
I usually build gundam model, High Grades, Master Grades and such. and let me say that this model its more difficult than your average MG gundam. it has tinny parts, joints and articulations. and the stickers and decals are really hard to put on. good news its that it comes with decals and waterslides of the same marks so you can choose. having said that, the model its really beautifull, with great looks an proportions.

Afraid to touch it now...
Pros:Good lookingGood instructions - in JapaneseMolded in appropriate colors (white, read, black, gray), no painting required;Comes with both water decals and stickersVery good engineering on some joints using metal pinsFairly well detailedRecessed panel linesCons:FRUSTRATION LEVEL!Every time I pick it up, something is falling off it.Takes 30+ minutes to transform with lots of frustration with parts falling off everywhere.Bad engineering on some joints - joint that attaches the tail section to the main fuselage broke.Over engineering on some parts.Don't even get me started on the hands and fingers or the hips.Good instructions - in Japanese.PriceNo more Bandai from here on, will stick with the brand that starts with letter H.During this whole process, did find a nice web site that lists tons of these models with pictures and jpg of instructions (search for "1999 jp co english").

Assembly and Transformation is frustrating
Compared with Hasegawa VF's models, Bandais Assembly and Transformation is frustrating, the decals for the rear wings are not so friendly to apply and the metal decals are weird, why having metalized side with glue on the back if the part on which you will apply it is not showing the metal side, manual asked you to place decal on one clear part that is molded with the same desing as the decal, then the only option for you if you decide to use decal is to place it over the molded part then the molded part looses the original purpose to be, metal decal should be applied over a plastic part then you mount the clear part so you can see trough, like the face or shoulders and there are so many details on parts that are not going to be shown like the cone joint between cockpit and nose cone or even the shoulders and legs, model is to fragil, but I guess the error is on us because we forget to remember that model kits are not for playing, we may construct this model so cool but if we choose to transform it then we may be risking the model.
