CT Sounds CT-400.1D Compact Class D Car Audio Monoblock Amplifier, 400 Watts RMS

This little Amp is no slouch, can't belive its 400 watts! Been doing car audio for quite some time...and this amp for the price is amazing. The build quality is definitely on point, its definitely got some weight to it. very small and compact can go just about anywhere. It's definitely a little power hungry...I almost regret not installing 1/0 gauge power cable and just using reducer at the amp but it's only 400 watts. Got this running 2 CT tropo 6.5s at 1 ohm and the overall setup DOES NOT Disappoint!My only Gripe (or Gripes) would be the bass knob is trash. Very cheap lightweight plastic, I feel like if you just look at it wrong it will break. I didn't even mount the knob because I'm afraid a Tab would bust off while screwing it down. It also has a power LED on the knob which is a blinding blue...I can't even look at it straight on with out it leaving a weird blue fuzz in my eyes for an hour.Other than that, awesome amp, awesome price...I look forward to getting another and strapping them to 4 6.5s 👍

Handles my DVC 8" subs very well.

The CT-400.1D may be the perfect amp.Size, power, features and settings, and theCT line of amps are very nice looking also.Check the amp dyno videos online, you won'tbe disappointed.Customer service is top notch, excellent communication.I installed my amp with too little wire inserted into theamp the first time and it was going into protect modebut that's on me.

Great price. Works awesome. Even overpowered for my sub. Had to adjust gain down to match subs wired in series at 8 ohms (better to go up in my situation than down) 1 ohm would be way to much power for my speakers. Plays awesome. Have plenty room to go bigger. Lol

It doesnt work. The amp keeps going into protect mode with no indication of why. I have replaced and tested all wiring, I have replaced the speaker to see if that was the issue. All connections are solid. I have seen a lot of reviews that this amp just doesnt work in the cold and I live in Wisconsin. However, it just doesnt seem to work at all, maybe just a few seconds at a time. I'm at a loss and I have no idea what to do. I cant return via amazon.

Does pretty good with the 8in ct hydro I have it powering. I have no idea what others are talking about on how it doesn’t work under a certain temperature. It was around 20 outside when I wired it up, instantly worked, it was under 20 this morning when I started my car and it worked just fine. I’m used to loud subs so it and the sub don’t really fit what I’m wanting in the long run, I think I should’ve ordered the 2ohm hydro instead of the 4 so I could’ve wired it for 1ohm instead of only being able to drop to 2ohm to get more of what I’m wanting, but for replacing the factory sub and amp with this amp and the 8in hydro, it’s definitely worth the money Id think so I’m not upset. I’d buy again.

The media could not be loaded. Hace casi de dos años que compré un amplificador ct sounds 80.4ab, sin duda muy buen amplificador y de ahí en adelante me hice fan de esta marca sin contar sus 6.5 de neodimio, y subwoofer meso, resulta que después actualize mi sistema de audio a 150.4d, y fue una gran desilusión cuando sonaba muy distorsionado y mal, lo quite, me lo reemplazaron desde Amazon, que les recomiendo comprar ct sounds desde aquí y no en la página principal, bueno cuando llegó el reemplazo paso lo mismo y decidí regresarlo y molesto porque como todos sabemos es gastar tu día libre para conectar un amplificador, yo no pago por hacerlo pero habra quien si y ahí es peor si no funciona y tener que volver a pagar.Bueno sigo con este amplificador de 400.1d, muchos dicen que no funciona cuando está frío, y no es así, el mío no funciona cuando la camioneta está alrededor de 14.3 volts, y cuando se regula a 12.5 es cuando enciende, igual que los demás lo remplaze y el segundo el mismo problema, me estoy decepcionado de esta empresa ya que no toman en cuenta el tiempo que invierte uno en día libre para instalar un amplificador o sistema de audio para que de último momento no funciona o está defectuoso, CT SOUNDS SI VES ESTE COMENTARIO PORFABOR COMIENZEN A CHECAR TODOS LOS AMPLIFICADORES ANTES DE QUE SALGAN DE SU TIENDA, ASI EVITARAN PERDER TIEMPO Y DINERO EN AMBAS PARTES TANTO COMO COMPRADOR Y USTEDES CÓMO VENDEDORES, EN BOCINAS NEO Y SUBWOOFER LES DOY UN 10 PERO EN AMPLIFICADORES SOLO LAS QUE FUNCIONAN TAMBIÉN LES DAMOS UN 10!

absolutely exceeded my expectations, i put this in my jeep tj because i need a compact amp to save room. its pushing a rockford 10" in a sealed box and a kicker 6.5 in the factory enclosure. it has way more power than i need. super impressed.
