I've gone through a lot of brake pads on my ebike because I write it quite often and I commute with it I go grocery shopping I write it back and forth to work I go up and down Hills and stay in Bank mints I'm constantly on those brakes that being said the quality of the pads that I have been using in the past has disappointed me I've expected a lot more out of them for what I'm paying so when I ordered these I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised that they're made out of great material they make the pads that I were using look like toys these are definitely a professional product for people that are serious about the brakes on their bikes whether it be a mountain bike or any bike or anything that you would have hydraulic disc brakes for bikes. The fit and finish is good the materials are very high quality and the installation is made very easy it comes with everything you need to install it but the tools themselves and it's versatile I know it's made for a certain or specific type or brand of brakes but it actually fits others that are similar that do not have the spikes protruding from the top so you could use them wide variety of brakes. I definitely recommend these if you are in the market for a serious brake pad.

These pads are a perfect fit for the Hope RX4+ brakes on my gravel bike. You get one pair of pads and the pad springs, so you'll need 2 sets for the whole bike. You don't get a replacement pad screw or the little twist clip thing that loves to fly to the opposite end of the garage and disappear into the void, so take care not to lose these when removing the existing pads. With the old pads removed these just drop in place, a nice bonus for me was that the pad springs actually fit a lot better than on my OEM Hope pads and grip the pads better, my original ones were really loose and tended to come off when trying to fit the pads.Once installed, they were a bit noisy during the initial bedding in and I didn't feel like I had much stopping power at all, so take care when bedding in, but this gradually improved and now they feel great, plenty of stopping power and modulation and really quiet in dry conditions. In wet conditions they still shriek like every single pair of disc pads I've ever used, but at least dog walkers know you're coming. I've had the pads on the bike for a good couple of months now and durability has been impressive, so far they seem to be wearing slower than the original ones.Overall very impressive but that comes at the cost of being quite expensive - OEM hope ones will run about £30 for both calipers whereas these will set you back £50. Although they seem to be wearing a little slower I'm not sure it will be enough to offset costing twice as much.

I installed these in my Hope E4 caliper and noticed an immediate improvement over the stock (organic) brake pads.These pads are very well made, fit perfectly and come with a spring to separate the pads in the caliper. They don't come with the bolt or clip but I reused my originals, just take care when removing the clip because mine went flying and I spent ages looking for it.Bedding in didn't take too long, I took my bike down a mile long road/hill, kept braking hard at about 50m intervals and by the time I was at the bottom I could feel that they were almost done.There is no unwanted noise from the pads, just very good stopping power.Decent pads that look like they'll last a good while.Recommended.
