This my second purchase. I use them for my colored pencils. My husband uses them for everything. They are sturdy. I've never had one break. I use a cheap hair tie around them because colored pencils are heavy and can cause them to pop open if dropped but with light papers, they stay shut when dropped. It is good plastic. I am opening and shutting them several times a day and the hinges are fine.

Love these! I'm sure they'd be great for photos, but we use them in the center console of our minivan. One has socks for the kids to go to the trampoline park, one has feminine products, one has first aid supplies.We also used them when flying. The kids put a few toys in each (dinos, Matchbox cars, army men, etc), and they were easily stored in backpacks for use on the plane.

I use these boxes to make up kits for my card making class. I have been using them for about two years now and the boxes have held up well. The clasp of the box may be a little hard to open at first, but with use it becomes easier. I was worried about the hinge of the clasp breaking with repeated opening, but they have held up well over the two years. i had to buy more because my class grew, not from broken boxes as I had worried.

They work well

They are not as durable as I had hoped so much that one of them is broken. I opened the box it came in to find it was cracked.

I got these because I wanted the larger 5x7 size but I have regrets. The latch on them doesn’t stay closed, they keep coming open. I use rubber bands to keep most of them closed. A few of them work but I’m worried they are going to spill. I just wish they stay closed better and didn’t feel so flimsy.
