Magic spoon cereal cups
Magic Spoon cereal cups make great snacks when hunting for something and only high carb snacks are readily available. They are somewhat on the sweeter side. As a sugar craver, that’s fine by me.

The hype is real
I have now tasted all the flavors in this variety pack and can write a review based on that. However with the first bowl you can tell right from the start, they got it right. The texture is really good, very cereal like. The taste is really good. I have also tried Catalina Crunch, so comparatively, Magic Spoon in my opinion is better. It is better in taste and better in texture. Catalina Crunch is like chewing on pebbles it is so hard. Any flavor Catalina Crunch has is gone in the first seconds of chewing and because it is so hard you need to sit there and grind it down into sand, flavorless sand. Magic Spoons texture is so close it is almost identical to grain cereal. The flavors are also good enough that they stay with you while chewing, which takes a fraction of the time that it does with Catalina Crunch, because it isn't the hardest carbon based material known to man.Bottom line, if you are trying to be low sugar and low carb, this is your cereal. I wish it was a little more affordable but that is the way it goes in this market of low carb low sugar. I was very impressed with the quality of this cereal.Taste Ranking:1. Cinnamon (and I am not even a cinnamon cereal lover). It would say it was exactly like cinnamon toast crunch, but the flavor was actually better.2. Fruity. It smelled exactly like fruit loops when I opened it. The taste is good, but seems weak. I would have enjoyed it more if it was stronger.3. Frosted. This was actually really good, except the frosting flavor is more like a birthday cake frosting flavor and not like frosted flakes. That actually might be a bonus for some, but I wanted frosted flakes. :D4. Peanut Butter. It is definitely peanut butter. However it was a neutral experience. Not wowed, not disappointed. It tasted how you expect peanut butter cereal to taste, but if I was to pick a flavor to go with it would be my last choice out of the four.

Tasty, crunchy, and meets my strict dietary requirements.
This "cereal" is very tasty with a good crunchy texture. It is what the creator's say it is. Initially, it was like a dream come true for me, since I have to be on a very restrictive diet. The pro's are taste, texture, high protein, keto/low carb, free of sugar and artificial sweeteners, convenience, portability, versatility (a meal, on-the-go snack, or even added to a smoothie or yogurt). The con's are: 1. I limit products in my diet that are "puffed", since there are health reasons not to consume them at all. 2. The "flavors" aren't incorporated into the protein puffs, but rather the puffs are coated with the flavor. That means that every time you eat it, the flavor hits your palate first; then as you chew it, the flavor left in your mouth is mostly that of the protein. If you eat your cereal with milk or a non-dairy substitute, the flavor washes from the cereal puffs and is greatly diluted; so every bowl ends up tasting the same, regardless of the flavor meant to give you variety. If you want to experience the "flavor" more than the protein, you're better off snacking on it dry. My kids love it straight from the bag - no mess, no fuss, no icky sticky fingers! The makers of this cereal need to consider a cost-effective way to incorporate the flavors right into the cereal to truly set the bar higher for this type of protein product. 3. The round puffs are boring. Offering each flavor in a shape of its own is an idea to visit. (Example: Waffle flavor in a thinner square waffle pattern.)

When you need a break from eggs, this will hit the spot...then your wallet
Upfront, if you're new to Keto anything, do not buy this product. It won't taste like regular cereal and you'll kick yourself when you see how little you actually get for the high price tag.Now for the rest of us who've long since reduced or given up breads, pastas, rices and of course sugary cereals Magic spoon is listed as the de facto "best, most delicious keto cereal in the market! (TM)" I would say that's true, but it says more about the Keto cereal market than it does magic spoon.I ordered the 8, 1 oz. cup variety pack for almost $30. Steep, but I figured I could just find a cereal I liked and narrow down my orders from there. The package came as pictured and I worked my way through fruity, peanut butter, frosted and cinnamon flavors. Fruity did kind of taste like fruity pebbles but had a weird after taste to me. Peanut butter was fine but forgettable. Cinnamon, return of the after taste! Frosty, I actually liked.I decided if I were going to order again Frosty would be the one, however a weird thing happened. I looked at the "standard pack" of 4, 7oz boxes for over $45 did some quick math and realized my keto cereal budget would make up almost 50% of my grocery spending each month. It's a decent cereal, better than its competitors, but for the cost I'd suggest looking for alternatives.I found one named Ratio Keto cereal that tastes pretty good, has bigger boxes and is cheaper without loads of sugars, or weird ingredients. I'm sure if you look hard enough you can find some others too that won't charge you $4 for a single serving of cereal.
