There's a difference, I've tried both and have found the DenTek Textured pick works much better for me personally. DenTek Easy Reach Floss Picks 75 Each (Pack of 2) I've always brushed my teeth twice a day with a soft bristle brush but didn't really take flossing very seriously, what a huge mistake as over time plaque hardened like a rock and became tartar & calculus which built up Below the gum line and irritated my gums so much that I was bleeding very easily when eating or brushing And with blood constantly in my mouth (Blood Smells VERY Bad)... Breath Definitely Suffered.Here's what I did to make a nearly (gums don't regrow) complete recovery.Step 1 - Diagnosed the Problem:I went to the dentist and was diagnosed with mild - severe 'Periodontal Disease' and noticeable recession of very irritated and tender (easily bleeding) gums from the buildup of calculus below the gum line on many teeth due to neglectful cleaning (no flossing).Step 2 - Treatment:Scheduled a deep cleaning and sat through it. The process involved removing the built-up calculus from the teeth which allowed my gums to begin healing. There was an out of pocket cost of @ $500 for the treatment as insurance didn't cover it, but my dentist broke the bill into payments over 3 months. Honestly, some of the best money I've spent. Done deal.Step 3 – I’ve certainly learned my lesson for a lifetime… MUCH Better Dental Maintenance with Floss!Once the teeth (below the gum line) were properly cleaned and the gums started to heal, I focused much more on the daily ‘gentle’ flossing using the DenTek picks. Any floss will do of course but I've found these particular picks with the ‘Silky’ flat thread and textured pick make the job much more effective and doable on a daily basis. In the first 2-3 days after the cleaning there was still some slight bleeding from flossing but it was Much Less and within the week of daily gentle flossing, no bleeding at all or since. I was surprised by how quickly the gums began to heal. Today, I can honestly say that my breath has had a huge improvement and am able to closely converse without feelings of insecurity.Yes, You Can ‘Over-Floss’ which may cause damage. Be careful and go very gently.Dental hygiene improvement is done Over Time, Not over-night.[...]As you can imagine, I now floss every day and often several times a day (carry flossers with me). Using these picks I can slide the floss thread down below the gum line and gently rub up and down on the tooth root area. I can do this while driving, working, watching TV, etc… gently flossing around each tooth a few times without pain or bleeding and feel that the tooth roots are clean and smooth all the way down. The gums have tightened up, stopped bleeding and overall improvement has compelled me to share this experience. I No Longer ‘forget’ to Floss & Brush before bed. I floss Before brushing as to remove food and plaque between teeth which I feel lets the soft toothbrush bristles do a slightly better job. I do brush my tongue and/or scrape with the flosser.In Conclusion:If you’re have problems with bleeding gums and bad breath, PLEASE...Go to the dentist, have a deep cleaning done, and floss daily. You'll see results and be glad you did.If you think you can't afford a dentist, please call one and ask about a payment plan, you may be pleasantly surprised. If you find that in fact you cannot afford a dentist then just start ‘gently’ flossing & brushing a couple of times a day, please believe me, for the few bucks spent on ANY flossers it’s worth the try.

Who writes reviews for dental picks?! Apparently, I do! LOL Didn't realize I had a favorite until I ordered something else that I was not impressed with. I still have them and am using them up, but these Dentek Comfort Clean Easy Reach Floss Picks are my favorite. I like that the pick isn't slick/smooth - it has a bit of a texture to it and it helps to clean between the teeth as well as push trapped food particles out. I like that the head curves so that I can reach the back molars without contorting my face or holding the pick at bizarre angles to reach said teeth. I bought the other brand because there were 90 in a pack for less money than the Dentek and had I been able to get the Dentek locally and for cheaper, I would have done so. However, that said, these are my favorite picks. Just wish they were a little cheaper in price.

I am in love with these flossing picks!!!! I've always had trouble flossing. Not only could I not reach my back teeth easily, it was awkward to try to get the right angle to do it properly. These picks are PERFECT for getting back teeth easily, and the strong flat floss is great any getting in between tight spaces. The mint flavor and pointed pick on the opposite end is a bonus! I'm in and out of the bathroom in under 3 minutes thanks to these! I can't find them ANYWHERE in stores near me, so these are a WIN WIN! Buy today, you won't regret it!!

I don't care for the standard pick floss found in every store. I love these since they are the easiest to get to all of my teeth without tweaking my wrist. I do not like sticking my fingers in my mouth and these help me to floss on a daily basis since it is less time consuming when using these. I especially like the satin floss strip since it is less obtrusive on the gums. I can't' ever find these in the stores so it is nice to see they are available online and speedy delivery as well.Pros: easy to use and reach all teeth, makes flossing a breezeCons: availability

I wanted ribbon floss to reach my molars. This delivers on both. The curved, angled end that holds the ribbon floss makes it child’s play to floss the hard to reach regions. Its only failing for me is the thin handle that makes it hard for my arthritic hands to hold. That’s on me, not the product. The ribbon floss, as depicted in my photos, is loose. Would wish for tighter tension, but possibly the looser tension enables the curved, angular end more play to more easily draw the ribbon floss among the teeth.

I used to buy these at the different drug store chains and then they were no longer available. Thankfully I checked Amazon - yes, again Amazon came through for me. I like these floss picks very much. The only down side is the pick end will break off sooner then you would like. But other than that I can live with that issue. I give them 5 Stars. I bought 6 bags ...stocked up on them!! The picture shows the easy one to get (left - bad) and THIS product (on the right - good). This design is so much better at cleaning the back teeth than the flat ones. The floss on the flat one tends to shred much more easily. The pick is also better, with a more streamlined point, that can get into tight places.I bought them on Amazon, because this style of pick is so hard to find. They always have the flat ones. I looked in multiple stores, until I found it in one drug store. I scanned the barcode and now I can get what I want.

I wear braces but I don’t have brackets on my molars so I use these to get the right angle and make sure I’m getting a good reach back there to floss my teeth. The only thing I don’t like is the flavor of the floss it says mint but it’s definitely not a minty taste. But still does what it’s supposed to

These are great and the floss doesn't sag when you're half way through, I get a good clean. These are much more comfortable to use than other floss picks.

Always get these floss picks as they rock.

These are nice sticks. I prefer this angle to the normal flat angle. The ribbon is wider than normal floss and tastes minty, it also appears to be strong.My only criticism is that the ribbon stretches. I have no issues with using them though. I would be quite happy to buy them again.
