NERTHUSFih319 French Press Coffee Machine

I bought this because like many others, I can't get to my office due to a GLOBAL PANDEMIC and needed one for my home for the time being until I'm back in the office.Honestly you get what pay for. For the price you can be either - surprised because it's great value; or the second - you're just disappointed, but it was cheap and has a little imperfections so you can deal with it (or you).I'm the second, the press came slightly bent (I did bend it so it's kind of straight) and the mesh doesn't stop all the coffee grounds so I have to leave a little or I'm drinking coffee grounds which I'm not fond of. ()But I feel like you can very easily be the first. Seems like it's just down to luck at the end of the day. So if you're not a gambling person; I suggest to pay that little more for something with a bit more quality. Or if you LOVE bargains and you're not fussed, you just want coffee that's better than instant buy this

Had this for around a week before noticing a small crack in the glass near the bottom, no idea how this happened and presumably due to it's position it wasn't me accidentally knocking it against something.Not long after, the filter at the bottom stoped working properly causing coffee ground to escape above it and go into what should be the filtered coffee.Would recommend spending a little more and buying something more reliable.

This 1 cup cafetiere looks like those from more expensive brands but does not perform to the same level. The mesh of the press does not fit well and as a result grounds come round it, resulting in a chewy brew.

This product is useless the filter press is to short doesn’t reach anywhere near the bottom of the cafetière causing it to not function properly.The seal around the top is not tight at all so coffee leaks.

What with Costa being shut for most of lock-down and me needing my coffee I opted for the next best thing, one of these presses and a bag of Costa coffee grounds. Bingo! Home made Costa for a fraction of the price. So now I have a loyalty card with £33 on it and no desire to take a detour on the way to work. Can't have it all I guess but you can have good coffee at a fraction of the price.Well made pot, filter/plunger can be taken apart easily for cleaning, probably worth noting it is easy to reassemble after cleaning.
