Like that it is in a diary style book. Also at the beginning of each chapter it has wise words from other grandparents. This is what I bought it for tips to grandparents about boundaries. Do not give advice, grandparents are not their parents etc etc.Has a lot of games that some grandparents just wouldn't do.The print is too small is the only complaint really. Not sure if all grandparents can read that small!

I enjoyed this book and I will use it again when the baby arrives. It gives great advice. Things have changed since we were parents. I enjoyed advice from all family members. I enjoyed being reminded of the songs and games we almost forgot. It also reminds us we are not the parent and that is really important. There are new ideas we need to be told about ie. tummy time, no blankets in the crib. The one thing we all can give is love and this book showed everyone can be involved peacefully and Grandparents have an important roll in the baby 's life.

Fun handbook for new grandparents. Today's pediatricians do things differently than the way it was done 30 years ago when I had my children. Good tips, necessary information and fun things to do with your grandchild from birth and older. I received it as a gift when I became a grandparent. Now, I'm giving them as gifts to new grandparents!

I bought one for myself and one for new grandparents. I have read all through mine and I love it. It has some great ideas for sharing with your grandkids indoors and out. Will use some of the games this week end. One hint I loved was: when going to your childs house greet him/her first then the grandkids. This is great, after all they gave you those wonderful blessings!! Sometimes that can be hard when my granddaughters meet me at the door though:-)

I purchased this for a friend whose daughter just had a baby girl. She loves the book! and looks forward to using it as time goes on...

I bought this for my godson's grandparents. They are the best grandparents in the world and I was so happy with this purchase. He at the time was still a young baby and now he's moving towards becoming a toddler. It's a great book for first time grandparents and its done in a very sweet and fun way. They are really enjoying it! Great gift!

Very cute, but was smaller than I expected. This is closer to a pocket size book.

Nice book

Not quite what I wanted I expected a more fun book but ok for the price though not for new granparents

With the arrival of my first grandchild some reading was in order and I found this book. It was quite interesting. But at times the author was a bit much. Still, all in all, learned a few things and glad I had bought it.

This book is very basic. I would buy again if given the option
