TDC Games Alphabet Mystery Jigsaw Puzzle for Adults, 500 Piece Puzzle Game - A is for Arson

Fantastic! The mystery had enough suspects and possible solutions that it was necessary to build the puzzles. I had some ideas about possible solutions, one of which was correct. The puzzles needed to be studied and interpreted, so the solution was not obvious halfway through building the puzzles. The two puzzles mixed together was interesting. The manufacturing quality was high with sturdy pieces and vibrant colors. As some of the other reviews stated, there is no picture for reference while building the puzzle (because then you wouldn’t need to build them in order to solve the mystery). I did not find this to be a serious hindrance, and the pictures took shape easily enough by assembling one color and then another, etc. There was also a general written description of the pictures, so it wasn’t like trying to start from nothing. My package arrived around 4 pm on Tuesday and I finished about 24 hours later (yes, I slept and worked half a day and did other things too in that time). I am purchasing B is for Birthday today!

I was a little apprehensive about 2 puzzles mixed together....turned out to be not a big deal. You don’t have to be “expert” to put this together. My husband and I do puzzles about once every 5 years, so definitely not “expert”.The puzzle was challenging enough with being frustrating...there is no picture of the completed puzzle to follow, so you are sort of working it out as you go. We completed it in a few days - a nice diversion from too many zoom meetings these days...

We’re not jigsaw enthusiasts, but like lots of others, at this moment in history we thought it would be fun to put on our dining room table and work on a little at a time. We had no idea how addictive it would be. It’s probably not the best puzzle to start with, but it’s great entertainment. Two puzzles, jumbled together in the box and no photos. At the rate we’re going we’ll be out of quarantine by the time we finish. But if we aren’t, on to the next in the series.

I received this package a day ahead of schedule. It arrived in good condition.I purchased this challenging puzzle during the Covid-19 pandemic to help pass the time while on "Stay at Home" lockdown in hopes because of it's description of would take me longer than other jigsaw puzzles. I started it right away and in 3 hours had it divided for the two puzzles, frames made and a slight portion of each puzzle. If this pandemic doesn't allow me out of the house soon, I may have to resort to another similar type puzzle.

For those who aren't sure how to do these mystery puzzles: You read the enclosed book. Then you put together the puzzle or puzzles blind (no picture art-see my review for "B Is For Birthday" Mystery Jigsaw Puzzle by TDC). The answer to the mystery is enclosed in the puzzle or puzzles. However if you are not exactly the patient or determined type of personality I wouldn't be the first to recommend these as they have no picture- part of the mystery and challenge.This puzzle was the first puzzle I put together in a long time. I was pleased to say it took me 3 weeks to put it together. Most of the pieces were similarly colored which added to the challenge. I absolutely LOVED it!I also purchased with "A Is For Arson", the following puzzles:"B Is For Birthday""C Is For Chocolate""D Is For Diamonds"I highly recommend these for those who love a good challenge and love to have brain stimulation.

Product arrived sooner than expected. Everything looks fine, have not started puzzle yet. But this puzzle is going to be crazy!!!!

I had so much fun making this puzzle. Actually there are two 500 piece puzzles mixed together with no pictures to use as a guide. Once the puzzles are done there are clues in the picture to help solve the mystery. I liked it so much, I order 3 more of these mystery jigsaw puzzles.

I'm finding A is for Arson very challenging. All the puzzle pieces are about the same size. It is difficult with the brown and black pieces to tell which goes to which puzzle. A bit frustrating, but keeps me busy during the stay at home order. A picture would definitely help. Looking forward to solving the mystery, if I ever complete these puzzles.

I gave the puzzle to my Grandad for his birthday and he reports that it is extremely difficult (which is a good thing!). The shipping was a little slow but it came on the end date that the seller recorded so I guess that means it wasn't entirely late even though it was two weeks late for his birthday!

Hubby loves these puzzles, and arrived super quick!
