This is a top of the line item and is built as such. I found that if you are looking for an exact size the best way to get it is online. Marshalltown products are generally excellent with the definite exception of the homeowner line. Everything in mason work is hard and heavy, so stay with the premium line.

Solid handle, and welding.
Even the showroom trowels can't hold up to this. The fit in my hand is perfect compared to more expensive brands and the weld from base to handle is solid. I wish the handle length between the trowel blade and grip was a BIT longer but it still works nicely.

Marshaltown 19/10 philadelphea pattern trowel ,Great quality trowel
Great trowels after many years using 11 inch trowels i now have a bit of a bad wrist so i use these trowels now which seems to help a lot , these are sturdy trowels with a good blade for all round work and cutting , you will probably have to adjust to it if you use one for the first time. .I wish marshaltown would put a thinner protective coating on the blade to protect it in transit and rust, it takes alot of scraping off with new stanley blades to get rid of it or the mortar sticks to it !!excellent blade though once achieved ;)

No longer can recommend Marshaltown after using them for 20 years
Sadly I cannot recommend Marshaltown any more. I have used them for over 20 years and always buy Marshaltown 19/12 brick trowel. Unfortunately the latest one I bought now has some kind of protective coating on it which wears unevenly which makes the mortar stick to the trowel. I have been using it for two weeks and the coating has worn off in patches which makes it difficult to use.
