Superb adventures into castable resin!!
I was a little apprehensive investing in castable resin as it’s not the cheapest and I was concerned about the learning curve. However, the iFun castable green is in my price range and worth giving it a go for my ongoing adventures casting in silver.I read various online articles about what I needed to do differently and reached out to IFun for help with the settings for my printer. They came back in a few hours with a useful PDF.The photos show my first test print (square one) and I tweaked the exposure a little. I wasVery impressed how much abuse the print could take.The ring I pulled off thingeverse (so sorry I didn’t catch the designers name) printed and the quality was superb at 0.05 layer height on my mars pro2. Made my spue tree and mixed my investment. Baked out to 730 in my home made furnace and poured the silver (old napkin ring). Very impressed with the quality and details.The photos speak for themselves.Superb product and company.

Not castable
Took these prints to a dozen places and only one agreed to try casting it. Most places just refused to try it based on previous experience, but one place did. Lost all detail and the casts were a waste of time.Annoyed that I wasted money and time on this
