It is not dye that lasts multiple days. It is a coloring agent that blends in with your beard hair. I have been using this product for a few years now due to my sensitive skin that broke out after using Just for Men. Began with black when my beard started showing some minor grey areas. Now using grey that takes the right amount of edge off my white beard and compliments my salt and pepper hair. It must be applied after every shower and can leave a powdery residue on your tee shirt if you are not careful applying it. If you use it daily on your entire beard, you will use up the product must sooner than promoted in the ad.

It's compressed colored powder. I was very disappointed. It will come off on anything, a towel , a napkin , your fingers your pillow. I put it on and started laughing at my reflection in the mirror. I'd rather have my grey unretouched beard than to look like a clown. I put it on as directed, I even tried rubbing it in lightly with my finger tips. The powder was on my finger tips and my face looked dirty. In my opinion it is no better or very similar to charcoal. Sorry, I wanted it to work and I wish I could say one good thing about this product. But I can't. This is my opinion. I don't even want to give one star. Ok, one star for packageing and marketing.

Works and I do not get skin irritation like I do from Just For Men. However only 3 stars because it transfers to anything you touch. I got a massage at the casino and rested my chin on a napkin. As I got up to pay the masseuse, I was embarrassed to see the napkin turn dark grey. I continue to use it, but I am careful not to touch anything with the treated parts.

I love this stuff! With the two brushes it is easy to get a perfect blend. It washes out with soap, but not when you drink water.
