IRONSTAR Miter Spring Clamps Pliers for Woodworking, Including 8 Spring Clamps

I finally found a clamp that will easily hold a minor in place without it slipping. Where were these years ago, how long will they last? I do not know, but I’m not a production woodworker I just do this as a hobby and if I break one or two or need another set they’re cheap enough to replace, I have been looking for something to hold miters together forever and every clamp that I have tried. It does not hold the entire miter well enough these simple little spring pipe clamps work perfectly. That miter was made with a very inexpensive, cordless craftsman miter saw, which I cannot guarantee the accuracy of what it is holding that miter together wonderfully.

I use these to tighten up outside miter joints while the glue dries. These work well for small glue-ups, but they really don't provide a lot of pressure, especially for larger casing profiles. That said, they are way cheaper than larger pinch dog sets but you get what you pay for.

In conclusion, the Miter Spring Clamps Pliers Set did not match my expectations. The clamps are fragile, the pliers are unpleasant, and overall performance is poor. I wouldn't recommend this kit for any serious woodworking jobs.

I love these for making frames out of light wood, much easier to clamp the glued corners with these than with traditional clamps

We needed these for a job and they came right on time. These may be cheaper than NameBrand, but they work just as good.

Not as sturdy as the Collins miter clamps but they are a good substitute.Great price for this package.

It said it came with spring clamps and it didn’t. I returned it and ordered again, once again carefully reading the description, only for it to come without the spring clamps again. It works as is but I didn’t get what I ordered.

The media could not be loaded.  I’ve found these clamps to be of excellent quality. They are tight and never had a problem with loose retraction and not even the paint scraping/wearing off (though I’d imagine the paint will wear in places, but no big deal). The points line up after retraction and are very sharp, as my thumb can contest to that.They have a coil bottom so I’d imagine they’ll keep their spring for quite some time as opposed to some with no coil.The steel is definitely hardened.I’ve used them multiple times, put them through the test, so to say, and they’ve held up just fine.For the price and quality they’re hard to beat.I’ve just received my second set and I would highly imagine a third will be in my near future

I was pleasantly surprised as to how well the pliers and spring clamps work. The clamps exert plenty of pressure to glue a mitre.
