My son loves his muslin blanky/swaddle since he was a baby. He holds it to sleep and will only let me cover him with that. It's ok for summer but literally nothing for cooler days... I tried blankets of different textures but he would just wake up few minutes after I cover him and cry to take it off.I thought of giving a layered muslin blanket a try. It's a great blanket. Light, breathable, but also warm. Not extremely warm though but it works for fall nights. If it gets colder i just throw another blanket over this one and he's okay. He still wakes up but not as fast and he lasts a good few hours with this on. It's a win in my book .

This blanket is working out perfect for our 2 year old as she is learning to sleep with a blanket at night. I bought the bigger size and I can tuck it into the end of her crib make it so she can’t pull it over her head at night. Material is soft and material seems durable. I have washed it a few times with no trouble.

The subdued colors, smooth hand and light weight of this blanket are perfect for a newborns' bed. Lovely gift.

The star blanket is very well made and the perfect weight for my 1 year old. My main issue with it is the shape. It's a long rectangle. Long ways across my son, his butt and feet stick out. Long ways parallel with him and he easily gets uncovered and it falls off. I wish it were a square.

This blanket isn’t as soft as I was hoping, but softened up a bit with the first wash. It’s somewhat thick, but not too heavy. Quality seems to be pretty good, even though there were a few fibers sticking out on the edges when it first arrived and I had to carefully snip them off, but after washing it looks good. The gray and cream colors are beautiful. Bought it to use in my baby’s crib, but I might use it in his stroller too sometimes on the cooler days.

My kids love these blankets for their toddler beds. They're a great length and I can tuck them in to the bottom of their crib mattress/toddler bed and still have them reach up to their chins. But they're an odd width and about 5 inches narrower than the mattress. This means the kids kick them off or slide out from under them very easily when sleeping. They're fall or spring blankets, not heavy enough for winter, I'd say.

This only arrived today and I haven't used it yet. It's good quality, well made, and a good size for a cot which is what I wanted it for. It could also be used on the floor for the baby to play on. I wouldn't say the material is soft (it's not actively spiky, either!), and I think, unless it softens with washing and use, it might be a little bit harsh for a newborn. My granddaughter is nine months old, and I think it will be fine for her. I think the blanket would be big for a moses basket or pram unless you folded it over. It's a good weight and breathable, and overall I'm pleased with it.

I actually bought this for my dogs bed.. he loves it. He’s usually super fussy and removes ‘plush’ polyester type blankets.. this is the first blanket he hasn’t removed. It’s a very nice material. I would recommend this
