Hold-Up Suspender Co.Specialty Series Ski-Up with Black Jumbo Gripper Clasp

No complain, this is good solid suspenders. I use it for ski pant.Why lost 1 star? it is a bit pricey.

I had previously owned a pair with the steel pin to hold them to your pants. It worked well for a year or two but pants worn frequently would get fabric pulled by the pin and the pins would bend a little over time. They did however, do a fantastic job of holding up my pants with pockets laden. Sometimes the latch would catch on the seat of certain cars also and open up. These seem to be an improvement over the others. Latches are plastic not metal, so little chance to cut car seats when getting in and out. The cam lock on the new latch seems as though it will do much better over time. I think it's less likely to damage fabrics as much also. The rest of the suspenders are without apparent change. Over a couple years of carrying a heavy load in my pockets daily, the elastic started to need frequent adjusting on the old one so hoping for a little more life out of these. Nevertheless I am quite satisfied so far with the old and the new. A good value from my perspective.

I don’t know why I bought ski pants that aren’t overalls but I did. Last year I had to wear my leather belt to keep my pants from falling down. Then, someone suggested suspenders. As a larger woman with a large chest, I wasn’t sure but gave it a shot. I could not be happier!These have a strong clip that locks and is wide enough to easily clip on to thick snow pants. The wide band is comfortable and adjustable. A worthy purchase!

My husband really likes these suspenders and has bought many pairs over the years, but lately (this plus his previous purchase) the front clasp slips and does not stay at the right length, so they end up too long.

They fit nice and they dont come off all I asked for
